Il y a avait un vrai klaxon (real horn), entre 1996 et 2000 environ. J'pense qu'il était au-dessus du resto de pizza dans un des 4 coins, en haut de l'Aréna.

They also use to play the NY Rangers goal song and horn after 5 goals in a row or something to make it different.

Uhh no, pretty sure Gatineau uses a recorded replica of San Jose's goal horn...

@LeafsFanInOttawa no.they have the horn right but the song is unacurate.likes ness said,Gatineau uses RRP2 (The remake version,if you dont know what i mean,go check the Rimouski Oceanics Goal Horn for the song) but though,it would be awesome if they would use SJ Sharks Goal Song,even,when i went to see them on friday,in the first period,i thought they got SJ`s song but infact it wasnt.

@Kaijufan77 Ahh, thanks for clearing that up. It's definitely SJ's goal song (deep organ version of Blur). But the horn you're right. Gatineau games really are amazing though eh? Greatest atmosphere ever.

Nostalgia just striked into me when i was searching area 6 (the green benches) i passes by Area 10 or 11 and i remember exactly where i was sitting when i first assisted a Gatineau Match,they were VS Val D`or and they won 2-4.It was awesome.only flaw,i was sick that day >.<

@Kaijufan77 Haha nice, I went last year during their playoff run to a few games and it was amazing! Apparently it's just like the old Montreal forum mixed with the atmosphere from the old Pepsi Colisee. Perfect combo. You cant even hear the goal horn or anthem in the playoffs, the fans just cheer over them!

@Kaijufan77 aha that's awesome. As my name says I live in Ottawa but it's only like a 50-minute drive to the Bob. Pretty convenient, it takes even longer than that to get to Senators games! Most Sens games are boring. Gatineau games are intense as hell. Amazing prices too.

I played with then in my school (twice) In my schools ball hackey all-star game , the captain shot the ball on my nose (the first time we played vs em' and he asked me: "Tes tu correct?" I said: Oui. (because the school was french) And a year after we played em' again, I talked to him and asked "Tu me souvient tu?" he told me "Ah oui" And I played em again. Memories :)

The Gatineau Olympiques are a team from the QMJHL. If you have heard of the WHL or the OHL, it is exactly like that, except with teams from like Quebec. But, there is 1 American team: The Lewiston MAINEiacs. The players in this league have to be between the ages of 15-20. But the only 2 players in history to be in the OHL at 15 were: Wayne Gretzky (Of Course) And John Tavares. If you have not heard of Tavares, he will get drafted probably 1st overall in the next NHL draft.

ya it is the right horn i just saw a video clip of claude Giroux Pick of the Flyers who used to play for the Olympiques score and it was that sound but theres alot of pausing in the goal horn urs only has 2 pauses and their long but at least its the right sound. 4/5
