The youngest cross-country flight movement became a yuppie craze of sorts until Jessica died.

t doesn't matter if somebody doesn't recognize the achievement. most important that what this girl learned during this trip. yes, it was dangerous. but teenagers being exposed to much worse things in real life. Sex, drugs, alcohol, predators on streets. it is far more harmful then the ocean which brings you a respect for nature. and most important lesson of survival alone. good job Laura. you deserve to be admired..

As long as something is not harmfull to the others, everyone is free to take furtherahead the limits of his/her own against the nature, I think a break from school for an adventure around the world had tought her much more than a school can give in life...She'll catch with the school. If her parents let her to do that the authorities should only congragulate with her that she ha dbrought to her country a glory at such a young age!

They tried to block her from doing this, beacuse she 'should' have been at school! What a bunch of regulating control we shall all kinda illusive idiots. Dutch authorities always want to regulate and try to make a good looks out of their own benefit. Typical dutch, want to make evryone a christian and a model for the world so they look good.
