Ford DID develop a 900CC 2 stroke mk2 fiesta for testing, but it was discontinued almost straight away. The 2 stroke engine will never be a good engine for any car, no matter what it's displacement is. And the fact it wastes fuel, running tempreature problems, and the fact at high RPM with that much load, they're damn unreliable.

@LIP15 they made 2 stroke tractors a longtime ago, they donbt waste fuel if u put an expansion chamber on it and why do u need mega high rpm?

Bike engines, sadly, arent powerful enough for fiestas. Wanna do this myself, but the cars are just too heavy, thats why most cars with bike engines are small fiats or minis.

I think if you strip the fiesta totaly, the weigt of the car shound be around a mini's weight... Thats what they did to this one. And it looks like it's pretty fast to :P

Not true, aslong as you get a busa engine, that's 1300cc, and has alot more torque then most other bike engine, and if you're still not happy, forced induction will sort any so called lack of power :)

Você queria o que ? Que ele estivesse passando a 300 km/h em um hairpin e fazendo slalom ? Eles tem um protótipo de Fiat 500 que eu achei melhor , mas esse também está muito bom a julgar pela aceleração em subida .

E colocar um motor desses em um kart ... francamente !

Poor engine!!! It sounds very exige. That engine fills perfect in a small car like fiat 600, Ka, etc...Here in Argentina there´s a lot of these experimental race cars in those cars. However, it is a excellent work, so...congratulations!!!!!

it is a zx10r engine, is not so hard to fit into a car, because it need only the link from the sprockt to differential and one reverse gear.

i was wondering if its possible to run a car gearbox as well,

so you could choose a certain ratio within the motorbike gearbox, but use the normal gearbox to shift?
