@villyvra I strongly recommend The Evpatoria Report, if you haven't allready. I'm a big post-rock/contemporary classical music fan myself and I've recently stubled upon TER and all I can say is that, once you've found the 'mood', listening to their music is a wonderful experience. So far I can say they are my favorite :) Enjoy.
@redcommando1 I think the point is as a compositional tool. The song title is the concept of the song (obviously) and almost always describes how the song feels. I don't know anything about Red Sparowes creative process, but as someone who has been struggling to create interesting, meaningful instrumentals for the past few years, I can see how the creation of complex song titles before the creation of the music could aide immensely in the compositional process.
If you look at the songs in order on the album, they tell a story, the tale of the Great Leap Forward in China, where, driven by greed, the government tried to increase crops and killed off the "pests" such as sparrows that ate the seeds. The locust population flourished, ate all their crops. Millions died.
Believe me, there are longer names. This song is so good. I wish they would take time off from their respective bands, and make another album. Is way past due.
Man the red sparowes started me with their song - A message of avrice rained down on us and carried us away into false dreams and endless riches- . Than i hear the great leap forward- than more- and now i hear this song and im fucking obbsessed. Their music is perfect. It moves me and everyone who listens. It has a beutiful touch but a hardcore feeling to it and thats why its awesome. GO RED SPAROWES
I seriously could listen to Red Sparowes, Isis, Russian Circles, Pelican and all these types of bands 24/7.

the song titles tell a story...much like the album(s)...it's to be taken as a whole...not pieces

@redcommando1 The titles describe their songs perfectly. It wouldn't be the same without them.
