  • i was thinking of getting this case n installing my own dust filters ie dryer sheets lol will this be okay?

  • @kraziearchon it could deffinately help

  • Don't quit your day time job. The video was way to long. I have no clue why your hand was in front of the camera lens. Maybe you were trying to point to something. I really don't know, but if you were trying to point to something, use your head. Go out and buy a laser pointing device and use the laser pointing device to point.

  • @CCReviews Great! Thanks!

  • @CCReviews Okay, so that will not damage the motherboard at all? That was my primary worry about the case; even more than the lack of dust filters.

  • @GeneralNerevarine no of course it won't..

  • Brilliant review mate! I have one question, though: I didn't see clearly, but what did you do with the CPU heatsink to bypass the cut-out size issue? Did you just put the support plate directly on the back of the mobo? Sorry I couldn't tell...

  • @GeneralNerevarine I installed the backplate and heatsink on the motherboard while it wasn't in the case ;)

    Thanks btw :)

  • Good Review man :)

  • I have got this case and its huuuuugeee !!

  • very good review 5 starts if youtube still had the star system. liked and faved ;)

  • good review, cheers :)

  • this case has a motherboard mounting socket exposed on the back. does this mean I'll be able to install a zalman 9700 led cpu fan without taking apart my computer?

  • @chrisys93

normaly you could, but the cutout for the cpu cooler is so small that I can't tell if you're gonna be able to do it with ease

  • @CCReviews wow fast reply. I have this case and is pretty awesome. One thing though, on the manual, on page 15, it says to install "stand off" by socket, i have no idea what this means. The bag came with a small silver screw head but I didn't use it. (im not talking about the motherboard stand offs)

  • @chrisys93

that's a tool to help you with screwing in the motherboard standoffs using a philips screwdriver ;)

  • @CCReviews Again fast reply, this is the first time i've seen your channel. I have subscribed, good stuff

  • A very helpful review!

I got a question: what are some motherboards that have usb 3.0 pinout you recommend? I wanted one from EVGA but none of their motherboards supports usb 3.0 on front panel.

  • @EternalLily

    Thanks ;)

You should check out some gigabyte mobo's perhaps, The Z68x series for example ;)

  • Great review! I like the fact that you mentioned the missing dust filters right a way. That was main concern. Thanks.

  • can the dust destroy the componets?

  • @Crusade781

well, if you don't clean out your cpu heatsink or your graphics card cooler (for example) from time to time, they won't cool as they should and the lifetime of your components can effectively decrease. (So also a decrease in performance).

  • @CCReviews Well surprisingly my grandmas computer was barely cleaned, and this week i have cleaned it and it was pretty clean for such a long time, indeed it needed to clean the CPU fan blades with a toothbrush... I guess her PC is so clean because she lives in a forest environment

  • @merijnwitje The environment is an important factor. I maintain computers at a company from time to time where there is quite a lot of dust. Unfortunatly most of their cases don't have dustfilters so I often hit the problem where I need to clean the pc with compressed air and a vacuum cleaner because the PC was making so much noise because of the cpu and gpu fans etc that were going at full speed because the heatsinks were stuffed with dust.

  • @CCReviews It indeed does. My older computer used to die of so many dust, i never thought about that i should clean it, but now im very sure i should do it next time

  • @merijnwitje Yup. You need to maintain a PC system just like any other machine. :)

  • @CCReviews Well i always like to have something to maintain all times on my hands. I loved the time i spent cleaning my grandmothers PC. :)

  • @merijnwitje lol, even though that might sound weird.. I completely understand that :p

  • @Crusade781 no, but it doesn't help when i comes to cooling

  • Great review, helped me make my choice for my next rig - thank you.

  • @Rubytyr

No problem man, have fun with your new rig! ;)

  • I think the Motherboard back plate cutout is only for Extended ATX but yeah it should have been bigger. I am very glad I watched this review, you did a great job outlining all of the cases features as well as the pros and cons. I subscribed keep up the great work ;)

  • @Davy2612

No problem, thanks for the sub! ;)

  • The dustfilters wouldn't bother me as I think Coolermaster tried something new and quite smart. That the intake fan will suck alot of dust in it but the airflow will spit the dust out.

  • Or do u recon i should install the backplate b4 i install the motehrboard, install the motherboard screws then install the cooler?

  • @lord2468vader22

Hey, sorry for the late response but we were on vacation.

As you said, just install the cooler with the backplate first and then install the motherboard. Just make sure (as always) not to damage your motherboard during this procedure.

  • Please reply would u be able to install a Asus Sabertooth P67 and a Noctua NH-D14 on this i dont think there will be space for we to drill in the mother board in while its on'

  • I HAVE THIS TOWER *.*

  • is there an adapter or something like that? thanks.

  • @serkenshin

USB3 to USB2 exists for your mobo.. but I don't think it exists from that USB3 to standard USB3

  • does any one know how to connect the usb 3.0 to the motherboard i have a EVGA X58 FTW3 132-GT-E768-TR LGA 1366 Intel X58 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATXd thanks in advance

  • @serkenshin

From what I can tell there is not such a USB3 port on your motherboard..

  • Thanks for showing how to open one of those damn expansion slots. I was getting pretty irritated with those plastic locks and would have undoubtedly broken some of them trying to open them. LOL.

  • I've seen this case in person, its very cheap looking. The front bezel really was a deal breaker for me.

  • just ordered mine, it's the juiciest of the juice

  • @Therollofthedice

Yeah that's how some people like to do it. Though I notice that most people like to have dustfilters. You just need an easy system to take them out your case (without having to take off the sidepanels for example) in my opinion though.

  • it isn't hard 2 make your own dust filters...

  • I want this stuff so bad but I'm running low on cash atm... meh, life of a student...

  • @666Makkura666 i know what you mean >_<

  • Great Review, would be nice if u make a review for some of Razer stuff.

  • @tysker1337

We'd love to. But Razer says they have enough reviewers ..

  • Very in depth/professional review. Also you should review the Tritton AX51!

  • Simply the best!!

  • Before Second!

  • @bountyhunter552 so like.. first? lol =P
