Another kind of strength training is to eat slightly cooked turnips with garlic, & a side order of navy beans. Wash it all down with Dr. Pepper. Wait aproximately 30 minutes for maximum effect.
great workouts man..im definately gonna incorporate some if not most in my daily workout im just starting out but i want to push myself and those look tough
Outstanding work bud! Great effort...strong execution. Way to take it to the top. What is the device you use for straight-arm core work at 8:35? Some sort of slider? Thanks. Out
when you say 'weight lifting' you usually think about bodybuilders .. they are just trying to get bigger and dont care much about how their body works and they dont work out to be good at sports and stuff like that
strenght training is exactly the opposite ..your work out focuses on how well your body works and how good you can be at sports etc
i had satrted to make quiet a good body but i broke my hand and i must had stop ,now i am allright but i should wait 1 month so i can satr again ,nice video now i am inspired
these exercises are not exactly for people who are restarting their fitness regime after a year long sabbatical ....or are they......coz m speakng just for myself and most of this stuff is difficult for me.......anyways its pretty cool and inspiring and i will try some of this....will need to work a lot on my flexibility though,,,
The video is good and the training are great. An efficient diet would be its best partner in order for us to burn those fats faster. I do know a link of a site that gives workout plans that you could use to follow in gaining lean muscles and helps you achieve the "Hollywood Looks" that most of us guys after. Youtube doesn't allow me to post the link but I posted it on my profile. You can always check it out there.
a trainer gave me a 4 day strength traning plan, every day ends with cardio. is this a good plan for getting toned and burning fat?? or is it just gona bulk up??
Is it true that muscle size has nothing to do with actual strength? You seem much stronger then guys I have seen at the gym with huge muscles. They cannot do one leg squats for instance? But they have huge muscles.
I also believe that people with muscles that are to big the have no stamina and get tired really quick?
Great VIDEO there. Your one leg Squats are AWESOME!!!
@MrNativeDancer Yes it is true that size has nothing to do with actual strength. Granted you have many in gyms who are massive and put up impressive numbers with the bench press and squats etc. But for my training and that of my clients it comes down to useful strength. Strength thats gonna help you with age slower and keep you feeling young. Yes most do not have stamina, however, you take those who do strong man comps...they tend to have a good amount of it. Its all in the training.
@MrNativeDancer Also, body weight training as well as kettlebell training, when done proper will keep you injury free. Thats what training really comes down to. We want to be able to move pain free. Train With A Purpose.
@SuperPavian Not all. In fact you can make yourself seem heavier by changing the angles of movements. Example L-Pullups are much more demanding then traditional ones.
Thank you for posting as I have used some of the techniques since January with very good results, lost weight and reduced joint pain so much so that I no longer use NSAIDS-thanks.
@talusan909 actually training in this style has actually reversed any pre existing injury that i have had over the years as well as many of my clients. I had actually become more injured in the past from more traditional split training routines. Much research has been done in training more on the athletic end of conditioning, look up Mike Boyle he has great reading material on this subject matter.
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! I gots a long way to go before I get to that level of fitness but you are my inspiration!!!!!!!!! Phenominal exercises. Did you do more of interval training or was it sets with a specific amount of reps or did you just do a full round of a set amount one time through? Just curious
@Kabgirl24 I usually just do the intervals with no set range in mind. I work towards three to four rounds of what ever i wanna work on that day. I just try to find balance some where in my routines.
im kinda confused about working out to gain STRENGTH or to gain muscle size.I saw in some articles that if you do low reps with heavy weights you gain strength and lot of reps you build size.can you please tell me what to do to get strength just like yours?
everything is great, but in my opinion not very practical and needs a LOT of training to do all that stuff and ofc again in my opinion its a bit hard to make those workouts controled and perfectly formed.. I wish you all the best in the world your great very strong and so :P cheers!
@iwuejd Thank You. Yes some of this stuff is advanced. In our newest video, we do different levels of exercises to choose from. Our videos from here on out will have different levels to choose from. Thanks for watching.
Wow the more I wach the more I enjoy this workout, it combines four workout genres Ive been using over the last year, kettlebells, pilates, yoga, and calisthenics... fun!
@cjohnson596 Thanks! Thats what we aim at at our studio. A combination of everything we can. Its more or less we ask our clients how they are feeling that day and we do what ever. Most of all over the last 5 years. OUr clients have been injury free and thats what we pride ourselves in.
@philinmotion Thank you. I can see why some people would be nervous of injuries. However, we progress out clients to be able to do move such as these or some that are even more advanced. We take pride that our clients whom ages range from 7 to 87. are able to do some sort of real life conditioning at any level. and that they are all injury free! I myself ever since i conditioning this way have actually helped get ride of all my old injuries that i had got from traditional exercises.
Loved dat kettle-bell form. Ya just cant see a snatch that smooth nowadays. Improvision on the one arm push ups were friggin epic too. Keep up de good work man!! XDD
@TLBxSaiyanify Always the basics are great. Master a push-up. make it perfect. Pull ups WITHOUT rounding the shoulder at the top. Work on scapula retraction. As far as jumping for some of these moves, work more towards mastering landing first. Most people who work towards adding plyos in their routines become injured due to poor landing techniques. Hand strength is also extremely important. Full body compression planks are a must. Even Bear crawls. Try working your way up to 20 mins
@jackazz911 work on a TVA work. Planks are always great for that. Especially if you are doing a full body compression plank. Hold no more then 20 seconds at full compression. The latest research coming from Mike Boyle shows a lot of this.
@JcRealz1 not at all actually. If jumping right into this type of conditioning it can be hard on anyones back if they don't have a good foundation of core stability. (hips, lower back, TVA etc) But this style of conditioning really helps with daily activities. Not that one would crawl around the floor on a daily basis but putting the body in such situations helps it to react better.
@paintur68 WIthout proper body control it could be. But that could be said for any type of exercises or sport. All in all we are meant to move like this. Maybe not with so many variables but this becomes helpful down the road as we get older. All joints need mobility so adding in a proper flexibility conditioning program to this either active or passive stretching aids in the mobility and strength and health of the joints. Along with a proper diet
@jorge3122 Yeah, I guess if you just check out what people do and integrate a few new things now and then you end up with lots of options. Just like I say, adding a new recipe to your repertory every week is 52 new recipes a year.
I envy this guy a lot. My feet can't take a lot of these exercises, and I haven't been weightlifting long enough to go for the others. Got to work up on my circuit courses.
I think i'll try the reverse push-ups they look fun, great video it's given me alot of ideas, im scrapping my muscle building training and i want strength not pure size, too many people these days try just look big i think
yes, thats why i dont go to the gym, too many posers just want to get bulky instead of having power, endurance and agility which can be used for anything.
@witchettigrub how are they posers? if thats what they are getting bulky and powerful there is nothing wrong with that. it depends on what you do in life. certian sports require different things.
Hey Jorge3122. I am always trying new workouts, so i want to try this one to. How many reps, and sets should i do of each exercise? and should it be in the order you posted them? Thanks in advance :)
@Workhard1994 Instead of one complete training session, these are more of ideas from people to choose from. If you have good shoulder and hip stability with great body control, the sky is the limit. Chose from a few of them, making sure you have a balance between Pushing and Pulling. I prefer a 2 to 1 ratio of Puling to Pushing. Chose from movements that require bracing and those that require complete core activation through body movements.
@TeenyTiny945 This has much better results. Full body exercises with free weights or just body weight produce a much stronger, faster, and more developed physique, as opposed to traditional barbell exercises. All too often you see some guy who thinks he's hot stuff because he can bench 275, squat 400, and clean 230. Yet when the time comes for him to compete with a guy like this he can't keep up, be it running, throwing, hitting, or wrestling.
@jamesykt69 Thank you james, a lot of it isnt for beginners, it's just samples of what I do for my own training and what some of my advanced clients do.
@supasaiyn No it's not exactly strength training but defined terms, I more or lest used the title just for a title . These are just examples of exercises that I use at my studio.
@MrKurt1962 I always prefer a combination of body weight training ( with a weighted vest or more advanced movements) with Kettlebells. But remember, the design of the kettlebell is for high rep conditioning.
Your excercise routine is awesome.... but being that I have a bad right shoulder, (minor arthritis in my rotator cuff area).... it's hard for me to do even some of the simplest upper body excercises using my shoulders, so it's painfull just watching you do your routine...LOL!
You inspire me to work towards something tougher. I don't have a lot of equipment, just some weights, and you've showed some pretty intense stuff on here. Now, time to get to work! Thanks! Cheers!
@Natebubba it's great for a combo of different things. Grip strength, Shoulder Stability, Core Control through body movements. ETC. Keeps the body staying athletic in many different areas.
@Natebubba Thats for sure, you need to have a great foundation to do many of these work outs, i've been fit and weightlifting for YEARS and i can't do some of that stuff nearly as efficiently as he can, he has some TRUE strength.
lets dont lie i know you will open the video -----------> lose yourself after This XD

Hey Jorge3122. I am always trying new workouts, so i want to try this one to. How many reps, and sets should i do of each exercise? and should it be in the order you posted them? Thanks in advance :)
Workhard1994 11 months ago
@Workhard1994 Instead of one complete training session, these are more of ideas from people to choose from. If you have good shoulder and hip stability with great body control, the sky is the limit. Chose from a few of them, making sure you have a balance between Pushing and Pulling. I prefer a 2 to 1 ratio of Puling to Pushing. Chose from movements that require bracing and those that require complete core activation through body movements.

@Workhard1994 Also take your time with movements no matter from my videos or others, master ones to perfection before moving on.
jorge3122 11 months ago
@TeenyTiny945 This has much better results. Full body exercises with free weights or just body weight produce a much stronger, faster, and more developed physique, as opposed to traditional barbell exercises. All too often you see some guy who thinks he's hot stuff because he can bench 275, squat 400, and clean 230. Yet when the time comes for him to compete with a guy like this he can't keep up, be it running, throwing, hitting, or wrestling.

jamesykt69 11 months ago
@jamesykt69 Thank you james, a lot of it isnt for beginners, it's just samples of what I do for my own training and what some of my advanced clients do.

@Jotoesha Strap on a pair of ankle weights when you do that, and see what it does for your explosive leg power.

@jackrock1313 Some of the moves can be difficult but are doable over time. Body Control is the Key

this guy has a very strong core. But this is not exactly strength training .
supasaiyn 11 months ago
@supasaiyn No it's not exactly strength training but defined terms, I more or lest used the title just for a title . These are just examples of exercises that I use at my studio.

Amazing video but over all workout required great conditioning otherwise it could be injury prone.
Guys try to google 'Mankind muscles' there we can find quite good workouts as well.
ehteshamy2k 11 months ago
Just out of curiosity, which is better for overall strength training,,, the weights or the kettlebells? Or combination of both?
MrKurt1962 11 months ago
@MrKurt1962 I always prefer a combination of body weight training ( with a weighted vest or more advanced movements) with Kettlebells. But remember, the design of the kettlebell is for high rep conditioning.
jorge3122 11 months ago
Your excercise routine is awesome.... but being that I have a bad right shoulder, (minor arthritis in my rotator cuff area).... it's hard for me to do even some of the simplest upper body excercises using my shoulders, so it's painfull just watching you do your routine...LOL!

You inspire me to work towards something tougher. I don't have a lot of equipment, just some weights, and you've showed some pretty intense stuff on here. Now, time to get to work! Thanks! Cheers!

Natebubba 1 year ago
@Natebubba it's great for a combo of different things. Grip strength, Shoulder Stability, Core Control through body movements. ETC. Keeps the body staying athletic in many different areas.
jorge3122 1 year ago
seriously? I'm pretty sure most people couldn't do most of this without training for a while...
Natebubba 1 year ago
@Natebubba Thats for sure, you need to have a great foundation to do many of these work outs, i've been fit and weightlifting for YEARS and i can't do some of that stuff nearly as efficiently as he can, he has some TRUE strength.
