@jdog43 Yes, this was actually one of the songs that was played by foreign news channels during the protests. Unfortunately, you know what happened next...
What a powerful dramatic baritone voice!! I always think Enjolras should be sung by a baritone, or a tenor that has a rich, full, rounded bottom and mid range voice (in other words, a Bari-Tenor). But nowadays people just care about whether you can hit the high notes and don't really care about the low/mid range notes, so now mostly you don't hear many Enjolras that sound exciting, some of them even have whiny voice that make me wanna puke.
WoW! I'm truly impressed--Getting chills as I write!

What Les Miz might sound like if it were performed in Beijing.

Hope some day we could hear the whole piece of Les Miz in Chinese.

@kohakugawazy The mainland would never allow it and Hong Kong has little local talent.

Unacceptable red flag in this lyric, which is a symbol of communists maybe Chinese.
ssssk1120 6 months ago
@ssssk1120 It's a symbol of revolution, you fool. Guess what Les Mis is about.

@ssssk1120 That flag is the sign of the revolution in the real French revolution and in this book. Learn to history.
Not to mention learn what Communism is, China is Capitalist not Communist.

Not even a painful tongue can ruin a great, rousing song.

好棒的翻譯,我看過的幾種之中最好的。為什麼悲慘世界有日文版、韓文版,就是沒有中文版?為什麼為什麼??

Personally prefer it to be sung in a MUSICAL style, but this operatic rendering is really powerful!
Sounds different from another Chinese version (because of different dialects?)

nee, they're all sung in Chinese Madarin, but all are unofficial version by fans, so i think that's why it sounds different.

@wning12 What? What other Chinese version???
