  • I THOUGHT THIS WAS AUSTRALIAN ABORIGINAL AND I SEE SUM OTHER CRAP MATE WTF!?!?!...ABORIGINAL PRIDE

  • @najithadabest

It says you live in Sri Lanka. I am surprised that you are a racist fanboy when it come to all Native people on this Planet that should be respected.

  • @SPS148669 Do you really think I am gonna put where I really love dumbass :P

  • Wow ... beautiful is all I can say!

  • AWESOME!!!

    BRAVO!!!

  • Beautiful show of Aboriginal arts and culture, thanks for having us!

  • THATS MY VOICE AT 5:38!!! yeeeeee FOUR HOST BABY!!

  • It is very true that the first nations people have been misrepresented to our public and that the government has not lived up to it's policies amongst them. They need however to realize they have not lived up to thier policies with the white people either. They have lied to all of us and hidden the truth from all of us. This isn't anything so personal. Much of the world we live in is a mess. Do the best you can regardless of what has been against you. The whole of us haven't seen how bad it gets

  • Really cool! I wish I could have seen this in person but this was almost like I did! thanks for your great coverage!

  • wow, how mystical~~~ and magical...now, would they include the honest truth about Aboriginal People? that to this society we are not considered people, and that the treaties, Which you are all a part of, are no where near being honoured? That life for First Nations people here isn't as magical and pretend as they make it seem? This is only put in the olympics to try make Canada look good...a Country built on Theft, Slavery, Murder and Stolen Land!!! to this day, not doing anything for our People

  • Chug? your the one trying to be black...Get and education....we pay just as much taxes as your sorry ass does. Stop being mad because you don't OWN SHYT! Don't feel bad because the only thing you own is a rented apartment in BC, and the fact that you have no culture to call your own. Ur a product of New America, and just as uneducated...Go back to school pal, you obviously have nothing passed a grade 9 education. Do your research, your history and read the Treaties, Doctrine of Discover, and...

  • your education must've been absolutely amazing. just look at how you can type like a F.O.B.

i've never known someone to GET AND EDUCATION.

so ya my "grade 9" is obviously better in the real world then some native history noone cares about.

  • yeah your right, i dont care lol

  • Royal Proclamation...stating that your European ass almost got beat without a treaty. After France was pushed to Quebec, u NEEDED the Indians to fight the 7 year war...sound familiar? No, because you are uneducated...go back to school pal, learn something before you open your stink mouth...Gross European...By the way, there are just as much white alcoholics as natives, if not more...check your social services census you imbred

  • @piffmonger STFU FOOL GTFO. If you're so great why do you talk like a moron? Tax dollars? Wth do you do for a living? Flip burgers?

  • @piffmonger ho lee calm down sir. I think you should take a native studies course.

  • @gerardeflow my goodness. The people who are responsible for representing the aboriginal/first nations people for the olympics ARE aboriginal people. Trying to provoke hatred for crimes once inflicted will not allow people to heal and build a better life. The fact that the First Nations people have been made to look so mystical and as a beautiful culture is positive and can only allow better things to come for the First Nations people.

  • We are one same boat Sochi 2014 is on the ground of indigenous Circassian peoples mass graves. 90% of my people we wiped out and in Sochi its 100%. They are gonna have olympics in Auschwitz way to go IOC!

  • @gerardeflow Gerard, you must understand that the people who took your land are long dead. The present government doesn't have a direct undoing of your culture. The only way the present day Canadian can apologise is to promote the First Nations this way. We cannot turn time. I'm sorry that people mistreat you, they are uneducated fools, but if you harbour the same anger then there is nothing to say. As an individual I can guarantee you I do not discriminate anyone but I cannot say for others.

  • @spazzing

Thanks man, the only mature response that actually makes sense. That is a very nice way to say it to us. Yes it is true that we have to forget about the past, but the problem is....we have a treaty that is a General Relationship "Marriage" if you will, between the Canadian Citizens, the Crown and First Nations Citizens...our problem is ignorant people that know nothing of this negociation and call us mooches like Puffnuts or what ever his name is...If he knew anything about First....

  • Nations people he would know that we pay as much taxes as he does. The only ones that dont pay taxes are the ones on the reserve...and that is a minority of us. No one wants to live on a poverty stricken piece of land with no jobs or economy...so we are a majority urban...hence we pay taxes...thats all...the Governments are not honoring their part of the Treaty is why we fight...i appreciate your maturity and nice comment tho..thanks

  • @gerardeflow Yeah I learned about the reserves in Socials 11 Clearly not everyone has graduated properly from high school!n ;) I guess from your first comment on here you seemed a bit aggressive. But from the Olympics aspect, it's pretty awesome the first nations were included and honoured in the opening and closing ceremonies, and a pavillon. Anyways I'm a minority too.

  • @spazzing

I'm sure Canada used the Native culture just to buff up the opening and closing ceremonies.

After the Olympics is all done and over with, nothing would have changed between the govt and the natives.

  • Amazing! Thanks.

  • Sal Ferreras put the soundtrack together with dozens of drummers and singers from the four host nations and beyond, with many other musicians and composer Tobin Stokes. There should be a documentary about the making of this film!!

  • Thank you for adding this information!! Cheers, Katie

  • nice clear picture ..was gonna check the pavillion out but the mob of people and lineup were too crazy for me :D

  • Trippy, thanks for that!!

  • coolio
