@herbal1971 It's not that they see it. It can be that they are both tired and just wanna call it a day. Chess matches are very exhausting, and why waste any more energy on a game that could end in a draw, or even worse either of them could lose. I don't think any of them was sure about his position because it's really complicated. In any case Kaspy seems better, and he's the one who offered the draw, so Karpov immediately took it.
