hey dudes my guitar currently has 9-42 strings and i got these 10-52s i wanted to put but i wanted to ask that if i put them would something bad happen to the neck

You can swap your string gauges but with more tension on the neck from the higher gauge you will want to have your guitar set up - then it will be all adjusted for the new string gauge
