I really believe that the 50-over internationals could catch on here. Maybe even the 20-20 games. Hopefully ESPN (and others) who televise cricket will realize that there is enough room in the U.S. market for this wonderful game of ours. Thanks for your comments.
Good luck with it Cskg,it was good to see a local american tv station showing cricket. When I try and explain test cricket to american tourists in Australia they cant get over the fact the game lasts 5 days,lol. Do you appear anywhere in this video Cskg?
Yeah, but you can't really see me. I'm in a couple of the background shots. It's interesting that the Americans still see this as a 5-day game. Baseball is played in "series", usually over about 3-4 days, so I guess you could argue that it takes just as long to complete a baseball series as well. We just combine that into a single Test :)
It's about 90% expats from the subcontinent, but there are quite a few Caribbean expats and also a few of us Aussies & Kiwis playing. The Americans still haven't seen much of cricket yet, but we're working on that :)
