two brothers first off is the worste made pipe on the market. second off that sounds amazing man. i have the full akrapovic exhaust system on a 08 cbr 600 and its sick but that laser is so nice man. i saw a guy in malibu with four tubes it was bad ass. if i could do it again i would have done laser i think. god anyone want to buy a full akra system then ill get the laser. brand new check out my vids leave commments . peace out

how easy is it to adjust the inserts for different noise levels?

I never adjusted them. There were just installation instructions only in the box. I was never sure how to adjust them. I don't think you can do it while they are installed though.

The inserts have to be installed inbetween the flutes and the pipes. so you have to decide which 1 u want before their fully installed. you get street and strip sets of inserts.

This exhaust sounds awesome! NO DB killer is the ticket I guess. I hope you are O.K., I know from experience that this sound can intoxicate you, on full boil is where all the power is and it can drive you "temp. insane". Harley's don't do that. I saw a good chiropractor for 20 sessions at about $25 a session and I feel good as new!. PROTECTION, PROTECTION, PROTECTION. I vote this video "MOST DANGEROUS EXHAUST NOTE". Well done.

most any aftermarket exhaust will give you just a tad more power. It is best, if you put an aftermarket exhaust on, to also install high flow air filters. This set cost me $640, you can get other brands for around $250. I bought these for the sound and looks.

Thanks and they are seat covers from Luimotoseats on ebay. I emailed them and requested 1000rr seat covers and they made them. They only list 600rr.

It was just a slip on, I also had K&N air filters and power commander. Currently the exhaust is wadded up sticking in the air. Wrapped her around a street sign back in July.

Thanks, the bike is currently dead with this awesome laser exhaust pointing to the sky. Went off the road and took out a street sign. Broken tibia, femur, 2 back vertebre, and a cracked breast bone. July 11th and looking to be back to work Oct. 4th. It sucks.

Thanks, I had the rs-5 prior to putting on the laser. I like the laser exhaust better. As far as performance numbers - I don't know which is better. They both feel the same.
