  • HEYY! autozone has some handy functional stuff. Don't be too rough on autozone tools and they can last a while. As long as you can get the job done then whatever!

  • are you butterthegreat from socalcivic??

  • Haha no that's not me bud. I haven't been on that forum in a while.

  • buy a battery operated impact and it will save you hella time.

  • It's the movie "Swiss Family Robinson"

  • WHAT! dang it. get off. lets go to town. HAHA. time for part 2

  • It was a stock H22a with stock cams and skunk2 cam gears.

  • @butter999999 what tools are u using or can u recommend that don't cost too much?

  • hey it doesn't take very many tools to get a timing belt changed. I bought a spring compressor that was 60 bucks but it made the job so much easier. To adjust the valves for more efficient cylinders I made a tool by melting an open end wrench and a deep socket together. You can get a socket set anywhere with extensions anywhere. The bests thing u can do is to buy a service manual for your specific car so you don't make a mistake even the first time.

  • what cams do you have?

  • nice was that an variable valve timing electronic controlled that you didnt get the wires off or oil pressure?

  • you are a funny duck. ya pepboys special steering wheel really tacky. and auto meter tach is out of control big. Whatever!

  • Awesome tach and steering wheel. How much power did that add?

  • Hi, What manual do I need to change my H22a Prelude head gasket myself?

  • I love this kind of stuff, cant wait to work on cars after college. but what the fuck is the music your listening too? :p

  • I have an integra B18B1 with a blown head gasket, do you think that it would be the same process as replacing on an H22? I'm going to do it myself.

  • Ya basically get yourself a manual, time and a garage then go at it. Following the manual is pretty darn easy. Just read and copy!

  • Hey you know where i can get a cam plate? im rebuilding my h22 usdm head and it didnt come with the plate thanks

  • ya with a little fanesse you can get the belt off muhaha.. nono use a knife to get the belt off

  • ey how you take off the belt

  • use a knife

  • Dude totally diggin the swiss family robinson in the background haha. Nice straight forward engine disassembly

  • i'm looking at changing the head gasket on my 2.4 twin cam GM engine. I wasn't going to do it myself except the estimate from all the shops are insane. So I guess I'll be doing the same thing you did!

  • lol I don't know half what I would like to know, but when you have a passion for somthing you want to know all you can about it. So read and drive. The hardest part for most would probably be getting the timing correct when you are done. I had trouble myself but after you tackle that then all the rest is experience and reading. have a great day.

  • why isn't ur engine all oilly brah? where did u learn to be good at taking apart engines? is it hard to replace gaskets?

  • ya its halarious

  • Your videos are LMFAO!! In a good way...with the Disney soundtrack in the back. LOL...all good though.
