Hey I have a question, the other day I was taking my test and I was going to make a right. Now the lanes were clear and it was just me and another guy making a left onto my lane. So I start making my right and the guy decides to make a U turn. It was too late for me to stop and let him go first so I slowed, looked at him and continued. Automatic fail! WHY!!! Plus the instructor wrote down "Also made a right on red light" that light has no arrows to dictate my turn. Was he just in a bad mood?
@TheAngelicRider There may be two reasons for this. Either there was a no right turn on red sign that you didn't see or that the guy making a left was making a PROTECTED left turn. (A green left turn arrow on his side of the traffic light.) The best way to avoid this, as I was told, is to pull up to the intersection and look at your traffic light and the traffic light belonging to the cars going perpendicular to you. If both are red then it's a protected left turn in front of you.
@TheAngelicRider That shouldn't have been your fault. They don't even cover what to do in that sort of situation because it can happen anywhere and the circumstances may be different. Bad luck I suppose = /
Test in 1 hour. Poker face.

I will take my driver's test tomorrow and I am already nervous... Would that be a reason to fail if your window in the driver's side won't work?

how can you make a mistake like driving through a red light?
lolzordje123 4 months ago
wait what? you can turn on red...if no cars are coming and no pedestrians are crossing.

@joyride199 Solid red. You can turn right on a solid red. But you cannot turn against a red arrow.
