Adopting children are, in a way, better than constantly having your own. The world is full of children who need a home, so why make new ones until the ones already here are helped? Plus, any two morons can 'do it' and have a baby, but adopted children are your children by love and acceptance. THAT'S what makes a family, NOT who humped who and had you.

John Kricfalusi claims that Penny is a poorly drawn character, with bad construction. Lord, but I wish I were a good enough artist to have an opinion on whether he's right or not. Although I think accusing a Disney character, especially one handled by the old guard (just before retirement), of being poorly designed is a pretty serious charge.
However, what he overlooks is that for a "straight" character to be pretty or cute, there isn't really a lot of latitude in terms of design options.
Problem is, he's full of utter gold AND utter crap. He has many valuable things to say, and many important principles he teaches, but at the same time he comes off uber-arrogant and narrowminded, and not entirely rational. (Hey, I'm not always the most rational guy in the world, but I can tell the difference between my sensible side and my nutzo side :)
But for all his arrogance and ungenerous condemnations, it's hard to flatly dismiss someone as highly skilled and studious as he is.
I still say he's full of crap. If he can watch a film like The Rescuers and call Penny, probably the sweetest most well-liked cartoon little girl of all time, a badly drawn character, then he's full of it. Even his last name is funny.
Well I can honestly say that I care about Penny alot and find it offensive when people diss her. Penny is a legend. I mean she retrieves the world's largest diamond, hi-jacks Medusa's swampmobile and in the end, gets adopted.
Well the reason I care about her is because she is a beautiful little girl and will grow up to be a beautiful young lady and I will be damned if I let anyone stand in the way of that. I would probably throw myself in front of a tidal wave for her.
Also, despite being lonely and forced into a dark, dangerous cave, Penny seemed healthy. So at least we know she was able to eat and keep herself clean, and showed no signs of abuse. Those are good things.
You need to change that description! Penny certainly doesn't drown, she wins the day and is happily adopted! How could you make such a horrible mistake?
