  • The one thing that comes across in all the music that was around at that time is the vibrancy & colour of everything. Everybody was so Happy in those days. Is it me or has the sparkle gone from the World??

  • @Weston1968. Yes, very colourful then. 26 years ago. Now my bank statements come in black & white. My mortgage account is less colourful. Friday. Drink. Find old tunes. Bring the sparkle back.

  • @FindoGask100 :-)

  • This is such a great song. Wish I grew up in these days when you weren't labeled as a 'gay' for wearing a certain trend and everyone was out for having a fun time.

  • These dudes are (sadly) probably gay. It's all too obvious. Anybody care to refute this?

  • @KINGofALLtheMERCIANS sadly u r obsessed about you gay sex

  • @KINGofALLtheMERCIANS Does it matter if they're gay or not? Brilliant song.....brings back memories of school discos and Bruno Brookes doing the top 40 on Radio One.....!

  • @KINGofALLtheMERCIANS- I can tell easily that you hope they are gay so you can have more realistic sexual fantasies about them while putting your finger in ur bum while you jerk off.. You homo "phobics" make it so obvious like you think we were born yesterday.. anyways yes I agree with you, I think they are gay and I think you are too. I don't think theres anything wrong with it, men and women are both hot.. and theres nothing else.. accept Donkeys for you

  • I read that this song peaked on an international chart of some sort around May 26, 1984. If this is true, where did it peak?

  • In Norway actually

  • Gee, breakdance was so cool back then.

  • Does a breakdance party involve no alcohol?

    Christ, I'd be bored shitless

  • Some people don't need alcohol to overcompensate for their lack of personality.

  • Hmmm. Sounds like breakdance parties are populated by sanctimonius humourless muppets.

    With headbands.

  • classic the best. breakmachine.

  • Cool & Funky !

  • love this funnky styles but dont rite be bad pllz are they dead ?

  • ya still have thise record original 1

  • break machine is the flo rida of 1980s hip hop.

  • Please Breakmachine is min. 100 times better then this shitty Flo"Gay" Rida! Back then it was PopShit but better then this shit whats going on today!

  • break machine and flo rida were the worst of their respective time periods. thats all i was trying to get across.

  • Thats true, but im "only" 25 y.o. and i was not there when this was uncool but if you look at the Hip-"Pop" Market Today thats all much worst than Breakmachine and I think Street Dance is a Classic but this Song is really shit! ;-)

  • You did not get the flow of these tracks, imagine that you are goin' to dance all night long with your friends and funky fresh girlz around!

  • have a look at Electro Rock at the hiipodrome london - shot in 85.

  • I love bboying from 80's, here was a style, all levels of dancing, high-medium-medium'low-low. Not only acrobatic! and that was fantastic. Top rock!

  • que vivan los 80 !!!

  • a need a solution to this dilution..switch off! LOL

  • THis is why that shit almost died the first time. Mad corny

  • 2:54 xD

  • unos capos, yo los vi en vivo en el luna park hace como 25 años atras.MUY BUENOS

  • You know what was great about breakin' in the 80s? Everybody had some sort of inexplicable magical power.

They got dudes in here jumping through windows and stealin' shit at the speed of light. They got some cold fusion shit goin on every time they start pop lockin'. People start crawling out of the walls n' sewers n' shit.

Now-a-days when people start breakin' nothin' happens. People don't join in, laws of physics aren't broken....nothin'

  • your watching the wrong videos then

  • I sure miss my breakin' days....

  • ugh i can't believe i used to break in 85. how embarressing. sure couldn't do it now a quarter decade later. (get these damn pepsi and coca-cola advertisements out of my head for just as long...it's flippin maddening...ahhhhhhhhh!!!!)

  • lol, I know guys that are late 30s and early 40s that still bboy. You probably still have it somewhere in you.

  • i;ve always wondered what was the oldest age for a bboy - i stopped at 22 - but by then breakin had faded out - now 36 and wouldn't have a clue where to start !!!

  • No way !! I'm 41 now, back in 84-86 we formed a little Breakdance & E-Boogie Crew at school (4 guys + a girl). 2 months ago we met at a School Re-Union...after 20 min the DJ put on Shannon/ RockSteadyCrew/ BreakMachine (upon request of our other schoolfriends)...and guess what ?? There we were again poppin' at 41 !!!! You still have in You, under a big layer of powder.... just brush it away :-) .... well, our backs ached a lot afterwards, but it was all worth it - shoulda seen my wife's face :-)

  • fair play to you fella - i was never happier in my life than when i was bboying - back then all you had to do was dance - the circle then formed - all the birds lok at you - they equate your dancing with how good you are in the sack and then you pull the fittest bird there is. happy days !!!

  • michelino1968 Now that would make a great video on you tube i would love to see that. I to grew up with this music being born just before you. It was happy feel good music without all the guns drugs and violence of modern rap music. Great video from the best era ever the 80's.

But believe me, the fun factor was at 1 million !

  • michelino1968

Just looking at those moves we attempted as mites make my eyes water now!

  • @michelino1968 Thanks for sharing that nice story :) Love it! :D Good to hear after all those years you still could have fun and relive the past once more!

  • @michelino1968 hope ur kids didnt have to endure it, that sort of thing can cost a fortune in therapy in adulthood, i wonder how much coercing was involved or was it just a free bar, good 4 u anyhow

  • @bryngOneOn

...I tell You what...all I did was have a look at the flash in the eyes my ex-fellow group mates...and of we went !!!
