@19Chuck80 I thought this was only used for the pilot, but they probably used this and then changed it at the last minute to the theme people are most common with. I like this tune, but I'm happy they changed it. The theme they used from 1989-96, is much more memorable for the show.

He was introduced halfway into the 1st season. He was originally a one time only character but after his first appearence his popularity SKYROCKET. The show was actually going to be cancelled after season 1, but it was saved by Urkel and ran for about 10 more years afterwards.
I remember this....nothing against the song, but Im glad they changed it.
