In Canada, we have something called the P.A.T's, where you are given them every three years - grade three, grade six and grade nine. It's to make sure that we are prepared and up to grade level, and this is exactly what S.W.E.A.T is like. So, everybody saying that they're too young, everybody saying that the S.W.E.A.T test doesn't exist, it does; in different states, countries or continents. They just have different forms of it :)
This is one of the stupidest episodes of Arthur yet! Getting all worked up over #2 pencils?! And D.W. is being such a bitch for not letting Arthur have peace and quiet!!!
This S.W.E.A.T. Test reminds me of this stupid test called S.T.A.R. That they give us here in California. They give us pencils BTW and it is just a test to make people think you're smarter than you really are.
Wow, I only heard the audio for the first few seconds of this ep, and I thought it was DW. Geez, the earlier voices were much better. Though that Arthur is probably as old as me by now. lol

@TViggy2389 SATs are tests british kids take at age 11, there used to be tests at 7 and 14 as well but they were scrapped a few years ago. GCSE's are tests british kids take at 16 and are usually essential to gaining any meaningful form of employment or training, I've taken all of those tests, they're nothing to worry about.
@fiddleandcatz oooh ok thanks. I live in Australia and here the only big test ( amongst others) we have to worry about in high school is the HSC which we all take prior to studying at university. I just always heard about SAT s and stuff and have always wondered what they were. Thanks !

@HiyaMichael: No different than Arnold & company as 9 year old 4th graders, since both Arthur & Hey Arnold both began in 1996 with similar premises & character personalities.

It seems to me that in recent years the stories haven't been quite as good (for the most part), but the dialogue is wittier. In my opinion the best episodes were between '00-05'.
I remember being little and going to friends houses to spend the night and NONE of them had Arthur books. and theyd come to my house and read them all the time. I was the shit.
