the best thing u can do when u have the red ring of death is turn off ur console for atleast 24 hrs or more and then put it back on. i swear to it works

the best thing in this video is the song. the repair is phony. it worked when they started the video or simply replaced the 360 with one that worked right before the end when they started it up... the failure rate on xbox 360's, pro, or elite are over 75%... garbage... i love xbox but they need better technology or something

@LPCranny i agree, i love it too but its not worth the hassle after so many times of burning out. the live play is better than ps3 but what do you do when you spend all that time building up your gamerscore? i have a ps3 as well, but xbox live is much more fun with friends.

you can fix your 360's as many times as you want, but if you don't fix the problem, it'll just keep happening, the problem is very very poor engineering, best thing you can do once you've fixed it, is replace the fans with better ones, and also add some extra fans, i hardwired 3 extra fans with a variable power supply

I did the fix a few months ago..and guess what it just went RROD again..what else can i do. Could it be the thermal paste again, i used artic silver that is supposed to be the best. I have done a few 360 repairs at least 15 and i hvae never had RROD return, and guess what its my own that has the problem...aint that some SH&@.

hey guys heres a tip when you pull off the front face plate where the power button is some where right next to the power button theres a sticker there and if you still have a warranty and dont want to send it in then carrfully peel off the sticker without rpping it cause you rip it they can check and it will be tamperd with supposibly so becareful.

guess what i'm angry because i took apart my old 360 and then i just said screw it and got a new 360 then i used the old power brick and got the same problem couple months later and than i was really hacked so i thought to myself use the new power brick no more red rings and i was happy :) make sure you get a new power brick it may be a solution to your problem

the silver part is attached to the dvd tray, it was placed over the internal dvd drive "the white part" while the 360 was being reassembled. Not to say this site actually works, I haven't tried it, but just thought a correction was in order
