as the MacOS and WindowsOS are different so you would have to get the Mac version of the program if there is one

for example you cant install the windows version of limewire on a mac but you can get a mac version of limewire

@formenso682 The MacBook White (regular) only has a 2GB RAM and if you want to get it up to a 4GB you will have to pay extra. But then a MacBook Pro already has 4GB RAM and the Graphics on the MacBook Pro are better in my opinion

usually you can just boot it up right from the box. I think it's better for the battery if you work with it then till the battery is empty, and then fully reload it;)

The aluminum unibody isn't too prone to scratches. As long as you keep really sharp objects away from it I'm sure you won't get any scratches.
