@alonmania the multi-release was a decision made by Namco. didn't have anything to do with MS. today's development fees are incredibly high due to the technology behind them. the only way to recoup costs is to go multiplatform.

It's the PS3 menu startup. The arcade version is built on it, lol.

You can actually catch and check the filesize before it boots completely.

The game's sizes is somewhere around 3 to 4 gigs for the base arcade file.

It's not on a PS3 CONSOLE. It runs on a arcade hardware BASED ON THE PS3.

Well, Namco-Bandai wants to make money off of the arcades. It costs them a ton of cash to put the game in the arcades, so they want to make a profit first before sending it to the PS3. Once it hits ps3, there really isn't a good reason to play the arcade version.
