Hi Deec269 - I did the same thing for the other side because I have an enclosed court yard. I have tried this in the garden once where I attached the one side to the roof gutter and strung an piece of string through the piping on the other side and tied it to tree branches. Give it a try :o) Happy canopy making. The garden idea creates a stunning atmosphere for a evening garden party and gets everyone in a great party mood!

Your idea is great but you didn't put how the other end is attached. How would you attach free standing outter end?
