@TheDancingSaxophone That game isn't "close" to the real thing - It IS the real thing. Your game console or computer serves as your amplifier and you play your own REAL guitar. Only real difference is that the amplifying is digital instead of analog. I personally can't tell the difference there.

And about the money... The game costs no more than 80 US dollars. That's cheaper than the average guitar amp!

I'm no salesmen or anything... But I'm definitely buying a copy.

@Samonuh "majoring in guitar" is the dumbed down version. I'm studying commercial music with a jazz studies emphasis, and getting a minor in worship arts.

I was in five ensembles last semester, played numerous concerts, took lessons, played a big recital, etc. I recorded tracks for projects of three people, made some awesome connections, made $400 playing a musical and all of this accumulating very little debt because I have $45000 in scholarships (so far.)
