Hey man been thinking of getting that bike but do you got any advice. I know the stance it a little bit more upright and the height might be an issue being that I'm only 5,7. Any advice is much appreciated.

My first bike was a 2000 Ducati 748. If your not an idiot and take it slow the bike will treat you just fine. I hate myself for selling mine and getting a jap bike. I personally say if you can afford it get it or you may regret it later. but BEWARE, It's called a SUPER BIKE for reason.

When I first saw the 2011 colors, I hated this white/red combo. Now I'm trying to find a new one at a dealer somewhere. It really grew on me... paired up with that new termi exhaust design... bike is perfect.

@joshshoot Yoshimura are the development partner for Suzuki, so you would put them on gixxer.

Termignoni belong on a Ducati. The Termi cans even come with a new air filter and replacement ECU.

@ChevroletCamaro2011 12 to 15k otd. I would not suggest payments on a bike. Bikes are all about fun and freedom. It is pretty stupid to sport a ducati if you have to make payments every month. Payments are not freedom. Although ducati 848 is awesome i would take a used honda without a payment. Please do not ask about month insurance and fuel cost. If you are worried about that this is not the bike for you. Mpg is low and insurance is high.

@realitymodel2 Nothing wrong with the bike. Its just that these bike are ridden very hard. Super Sport is no bmw cruiser. These bikes redline all day. I can get 40mpg to 20mpg from the same bike. It just depends on how i want to ride it.

@gwalia4 well if you thrash any bike you aren't going to get optimal MPG... however in terms of straight commuting for instance from my town to laguna seca the mileage is excellent...however the tank is small.

@XuesofUrsin Well im not sure about the varying of sizes but they do have different iterations as far as style...carbon... a couple different shapes... i would really recommend the termis tho... great sound... flawless fueling... great looks. We picked these because they are basically the standard ducati super bike termi's. If your looking to upgrade these are surely the ones to purchase.

@JazzFiveO I live out in the mountainous parts of california, woodside to be precise. So i don't do much city riding. My father and I take our rides out on twisties... but when im put putting around town.. its a breeze.. not as effortless as my cbr 600 or our cbr 1000.. but good nonetheless. 1st is pretty tall. I usually run it in 2 around town so like 25-35. It could get tiring in the city. But the clutch is pretty easy on the hand.. not to tight.
