Awsome,i allways loved the classic crown vic police interceptor but the new dodge challenger is bad ass. I have a question,the police swat vehicle at 2:04,what is that apparatus on top? I thought it might be an extending ladder like on a fire truck. I allso like the 53 ft Mobile Command Semi. Thats the same one seen in the movie Die Hard,and Speed!

@vikings844 that is a ladder they use it if they have to access a window for example that is placed in the second or third floor

Does the LAPD still use Caprice cars?

i´m not quite sure but i think yes but mostley they use ford crown and a few dodge chargers

haha no way. the caprice got phased out a long time ago after chevy stopped making them. Today the CVPI is the most popular patrol vehicle, followed by Chevy's impala. The life of a patrol car is usually under a year for large departments like LAPD or NYPD, and they auction them to taxi companies etc. I'd be surprised to see any police camprice that isnt worn and burned out
