PKK were the result of mistreatment of the Kurdish by the Turks. This includes attempts to wipe out the Kurdish language, Kurdish culture and the destruction of Kurdish villages and theft of land owned by the Kurdish people. The Turks insultingly called them Mountain Turks. They are currently the largest ethnic group without their own country.

But because the PKK do use IED and suicide bombings... I agree they are terrorist group.
