ah yeah i had that problem too and couldnt figure it out. turns outs that you have to start it by clicking the button, not pressing F2. It says you can start the recording by pressing F2 but you cant because then you can't upload it into movie maker. hope that helps :)

Perhaps your protection on your computer (McAffee or norton etc) is blocking the file from being downloaded? you will need to fiddle around with your settings to sort that out. Usually i small bar will appear at the top of the screen below the address bar to say that your computer has blocked the file download and you can change your preferences from there
