there´s not the guitar, I was listening from 12 strings, and people all around the world just don´t know how to play, and you did it very well, congratulations, from brasilian friend, and as a professional I tell you, sell all the other instruments you may have, and pass 24 hour in that 12 string and you will be the best!
Great guitar. It's very thick and warm. I DO prefer Rickenbackers to Guilds as far as 12-strings are concerned but I don't know that quantitative variables really apply in the area of music or musical instruments. It's all about what makes your music sound best to you and your music sounds very good to me.
Didn't mean to start a fight, check out two videos of mine, one is The Beatles cover of Buddy Holly's "Words of Love" and the other is The Beatles covering Carl Perkins "Honey Don't" - I love the Rickenbacker
For someone who could not wait to play that 12string, you sure sounded polished. I watched... NO.... Listened to your video 3 times before I wrote this comment. I only have one word for you...... Beautiful.
i love it, im trying to decide between an american deluxe tele, a jazzmaster, a mustang, or a gretsch duo jet, i like the sound ur getting, either of the ones i listed may not be close to that but, what do you think? im not sure right now im gonna get it next month
my personal opinion is that you can never go wrong with a Tele! won't sound like a 12-string semi-hollowbody with a trapeze tailpiece of course, but it will definitely sound the most "acoustic" or woody of your choices, which is always my personal leaning too. in my opinion, if it sounds great acoustically, it has a leg up to sound good plugged in!
that guitar sounds awesome! one of the best sounding electric 12 strings I've heard. I bet I would have to sell all my guitars to be able to afford one though :)
I agree, Starfire XIIs are overshadowed by the Rics but I enjoy the tone of these more, and the neck is wider and more comfortable too. Keep an eye out for them, sometimes you can find a diamond in the rough worth rescuing at the right price. Just standard tuning here!
Sounds abit like one of the tracks from Pat Metheny's "Watercolours" album. Very nice.

omg it sounds so nice...it's a real song or improvisation?

Just an improv for this demo - 12 string Guilds are the best, whether it's acoustic or electric!

Oh Yeah??!! Try a 360- Rickenbacker 12-string electric. I own one and proud of it!

Them's fightin' words, heh! Rics are great I agree, they are just too narrow in the neck for my hands, no offense to the guitar itself of course.

Nice sound. Is that a song, or something you made up as you went?

Thanks, the Starfire sound is nice and mellow. Just played a mellow progression along with it, maybe I should try to flesh it out into a song.
