I gave my girlfriend a Barred Rock chick for Valentine's day.

I have a 8-month old hen and she is biting very badly. I can control this behavoir? Any suggestions will be greatly welcome!!

@franciscast1 Block her attempts to peck at you with a firm hand. Usually the hens are not a problem. Sure its not a rooster. They can be bastards, aggressive, and will attack necessitating carrying a good stick or broom to shoe them away.
