@notanotherCoDfan for sure. some will mate better, with little or no movement between the two , but for the most part, all mill spec parts will marry other mil spec parts very well.
@notanotherCoDfan No. Colt had a special version called the SP1. It used a larger front pin in order to prevent the colt upper from being used on other lower receivers.
It's rare to find one but they are out there. If your buying used, make sure the holes are the same size and you'll have no problems.
Even if your'e the " nine thousandth person to build an AR on youtube" if your the only one who has a comprehensive video, i think that counts more. Good video, this will help much when i get my parts.
Hi I could not find where to send you a PM but was wondering if you have a video on how to headspace. I have a few old A2 style uppers I want to change out and would like to be able to head space just to double check.
Is it necessary to check headspacing? I'm planning to build my own ar 15 and I'm afraid that if I don't it may explode and possibly kill me as told by other ar 15 builders
@Daflaminasian it is important, but the way you have to torque the barrel sown it makes it almost physicaly imposible to have too little headspace. but you do have to make sure to dont have too much...
Great video, about to start my first AR build tomorrow and was looking for something to point me in the right direction, appreciate the upload to help out us Rookie builders dude
@SPENCERTACTICALcom dont k know iff the top of my head... Its my buddy's barrel that he donated tot he project... I never asked.... Ill find out for ya

That front sight/gas block is pretty slick, I might add that to my wish list for my future AR build.

every upper i have looket at say :no bolt, "bolt carrier or charging handle included" do they sell uppers that include these parts?
MrCaptainNObeard 1 month ago
@MrCaptainNObeard yes.. what you would search for is a "complete" upper... that will come with everthing and most likely the barrel as well.
