I prefer Iran under the rule before the advent of Islam.

@sahajad, weather the few percent of Arab loving Iranians want to accept it or not sahajad, Iranians have to this day celebrated Zartoshti new year, holidays & to this day all our heritage & culture is of Zartosht. When I left Iran that was long before bastard Khomeini, you could not find more than a few people in any mosque you went to, friday prayer was a dozen or so people, no one to this day gives a damn about Islam in Iran, it is some Turks, Arabs & 1% of of Iranians pushed into it again.

The issue is that most Arabs didn't REALLY understand Islam. Their tribal, violent culture SKEWED their interpretation of Islam - they didn't quite fear Hell enough...
