I was a life guard in high school at an apartment high rise pool with the pool on the roof. The place was locally called a "Stew Zoo" There were over 300 flight attendants living there. I was normally the only guy at the pool. National stews were the wildest and how should I say.... the most "fun".
This was the last time that our airline used a model for the commercials..after that our beautiful stewardesses and handsome F/A's were the stars!! We came along way since that commercial! Find our "Watch Us Shine" beautiful song and a great commercial for an airline I loved working for.
Andrea Dramm was the spokeswoman for National Airlines and if I'm correct she narrated a show called "Treasure Island" which took place in Florida in the early 60's. Her face was famous back then.
@cingalong The Russians Are Coming, The Russians Are Coming (excellent comedy, by the way) was the only movie that Andrea ever appeared in. Too bad, she was a cutie and had a lot of personality.
Love those 60s chicks! A friend of mine in Seattle asked if this is why I moved to FL.

The 70's must have been fun...

@psgman41 Actually, this commercial is from the early/mid-60s. This was made before National Airlines' "Fly Me" campaign of the 70s.

@xstew4nal The same model starred in the National commercials where she asked...."Is this anyway to run an airline? You bet it is!"
