  • I wish I could cheat like that :)

  • he plays in 38 a f instead a fis! XD

  • damn.. I can´t even tune my violin ¬¬

  • awesome

  • Paganini was italian it's a onor for me :)

  • @TheRoyPa same idea. TOTALLY love him . this is perfection

  • brillante!!!!

  • primer comentario en español?

  • @trabuquete Jajajaj ahora somos tres :3

  • just chinesse people can do that lol

  • I've had a few masterclasses with this guy. His teaching is as good as his playing

  • he speeds it up

  • the staccato is so fast

  • @marshalcraft is ricochet! :D

  • I appreciate all the angles and close shots--a very generous video to help with an exceedingly difficult piece. Thank you. Excellently played.

  • Hey do you have to bow the slurs with stoccato to make the spicatto slur sound or do you have to slide the bow across the strings for a slight second and stop it then move to the next note all of this being really fast?

  • @Henrickunit no, just ricochet across all strings.

  • wow

  • its true his bow string is hanging then within a few seconds it is back to normal at 1:23

  • haha you're right xD

  • I do not thing as it is fast video. Good job, Bravé.

  • nice catch

  • He Cheats!!!!! 1.23 he has a broken hair for a few seconds, but not after. Multipul videos put together

  • yeah lol the hair i see it too? o.o

  • not cheating, just editing. without multiple takes you only get to see the peice from one angle

  • @carrottoponcrak if you edit, it's so much easier to not suddenly mess up during the later parts of piece when you dont want to. Play a few measures, stop, play a few measures, stop...replay if mess up...play a few more measures... continue till the end. =D

  • @carrottoponcrak So what?

  • @timw4653 yeah!! XD

  • @timw4653 Naw dude he is so good that he can play Caprice 1 and pull bow hairs. Man... what school did you study at? You must be back in the 2005 style.

  • @timw4653 I'd like to see you do better.

  • @timw4653 your right i see it!!!

  • @timw4653 One straight recording, multiple cameras. Tis' simplicity itself

  • please send me music sheets!!!

  • I cant even use my bow like this. could any one give me a tip? i can go from G to E. but then i cant return.

Yeah. i have much to learn =(

  • do you know how the ball bounce?

  • This kind of playing is really hard to do and should be taught by a teacher not on yourtube. Hehe. Some bows just don't do this very well. Some bows can do this kind of playing much more easily. That's why many artists carry multiple bows.

  • The technique is performed by throwing the bown onto the string with the wrist and controlling the natural bounce in effect to in order to make even notes. You can grasp this technique by practicing on one string. Try throwing your bow onto your G string and creating even sixteenth notes out of the bounces. Once you have a handle on this, you can move from the G to the E string. Something to look for to know you have control is the doubling of the first and last strings. (GDAEEADGGDA...)

  • i find that it's helpful to lift my pinky up and let the bow do the work.

  • Its very good but after Shlomo Mintz its like 2nd class etude!

  • Yes, I watched that, then this. Very different, and I admit I like Shlomo's performance much better.

  • AWESOME-NESS

  • oh youre good.

  • nice, fantastic way to play this etude. Pauses are too long between sections but it's obviously a work in progress (at an already extremely high level of playing, of course).

  • Prosto Zdorovo!!!

  • It is how it should sound. A hundred and fifty years ago this song was written by Paganini and playted by himself. He really astonished his crowd.

  • Coming from someone who listen to Syndrome of the Down.

  • WAOUU !

  • BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what a beautiful sound

  • excellent

the pauses you made were a little too long

but it was very perfect! great job!

  • Bravissimo

    excellent timing

    perfect tuning

    you are a master!

  • search "paganini 18 Anton Polezhayev"

  • you all need to watch shlomo mintz playing this

    its amazing!

  • 0_0 I thought I saw a piece of bow hair hanging from the tip of Yang Liu's bow at around 1:23-1:27. If I am or am not seeing things, there is one thing that I am sure that I had seen - the skill, talent, and virtuosity this violinist has.

  • yea there is a bow hair hanging out?

  • yep saw it too. i wonder how he got it off.

  • EXCELLENT!ª,,,YOU MADE ME CRY AND LAUGH ALL AT THE SAME TIME...just perfect.

  • Bravissimo, Yang Liu! Hail to the Chinese!

  • love the bow speed on the ricochets and the pause after the 16th notes

  • so good

  • its like the bow isn't touching th estrings at all but alittle

    and wat incredible speed~!

  • This is an excertp from a student of sassmanhoause something like that he has a website that has all kinds of instructional violin videos. He is a teacher at some university i think.

  • is that an amati?

  • Sounds great. I like the way the violin sounds too: it has a nice tone to it - a deep finish so to speak.

  • Good violins are suppose to sound deeper and richer. Mass produced violins will never sound like that. only hand made.

  • true true :)
