When it comes to the training part, Fedor seems to pretty much follow the Soviet style of training. I have studied sports in the USSR, the might Red Sports Heavy Machinery, especially the gymnasts, and this is it: severe and strict training regimes, in virtual seclusion: tough work and discipline, little and simple distractions that made Soviet sportsmen and women the very best in the world. Pretty much what Fedor does.

of course most cases in a straight boxing match the boxer(whether he's black or not) would probably win. just like if a mma fighter goes into a submissions only match the straight submissions guy is going to win most of the time. it's a specialization. MMA fighters are "better" IMO because they are more rounded and in a REAL fight they win. MMA is the closest thing to a real fight as you can get.

@CrashBandikoot7 I fight anybody who wants to fight, jes even people who are my size. Havent yet met even one person who can wrestle, if in real fight gets his hands on me I take distance. Sure there were some times we went on ground, but was simply ground and pound, something im good at. Nobody ever got me locked ever for example. It's silly compare cage fights to bar fights, in last one people dont generally know how to fight well and technique is hmm lacking. Being drunk doesnt help either.

When it comes to the training part, Fedor seems to pretty much follow the Soviet style of training. I have studied sports in the USSR, the might Red Sports Heavy Machinery, especially the gymnasts, and this is it: severe and strict training regimes, in virtual seclusion: tough work and discipline, little and simple distractions that made Soviet sportsmen and women the very best in the world. Pretty much what Fedor does.

i really dont think you're understanding. Pierre is the french equivalent of peter, if you're called peter you dont just suddenly become pierre if you go to a french speaking country. Just like the name fedor, its the russian equivalent of theodore. russian doesnt have the "th" sound as far as im aware.

Why do you think the best fighters are ONLY in the UFC? They traditionally weren't and they just picked up the scraps of Pride. I like Dana and what he's done for the sport in America, but he the UFC's lackluster HW division does not deserve Fedor; he can do whatever he wants because he has PROVEN BEYOND A DOUBT that he ist he greatest fighter to have lived.

That's not the point though. He ALREADY beat the best. Why do you want to see him lose OUT OF HIS PRIME MIND YOU, so bad? Fighting any 32 people you are bound to lose at least 1, especially in a professional environment; dynasty teams lose to shit teams all the time, but not Fedor. The Kohsaka defeat was stupid and the cut meant nothing; it was as worse as a tiny razor blade cut, therefore it doesn't count. He defeats awesome fighters consistently therefore he can do whatever he wants now.

like without his managers he wouldnt be able to make fights, since he doesnt speak english. He would stay in sambo and be in Russian fighting contests fighting for money. He started MMA because he needed to feed his family. And his church father says that Fedor is same way in the ring as he is in life. He helps people out, helped his whole family, and if he does a task he dedicates himself into it 100%. He trains 6 days a week for 7 hours a day, every single time. Thats why you dont see him mch

You only hear a boxer fight in a mma match would lose.

of course most cases in a straight boxing match the boxer(whether he's black or not) would probably win. just like if a mma fighter goes into a submissions only match the straight submissions guy is going to win most of the time. it's a specialization. MMA fighters are "better" IMO because they are more rounded and in a REAL fight they win. MMA is the closest thing to a real fight as you can get.
