That opening is tribute to "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs", "Pinocchio", the "Baia" segment of "The Three Caballeros", "Make Mine Music", the "Johnny Appleseed" segment of "Melody Time", "The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad", "Cinderella", "Sleeping Beauty", "The Sword in the Stone", "The Jungle Book", "Robin Hood", and "The Many Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad".
I thought they were going the use the 1990 version of the Walt Disney Pictures logo, since this was suppose to pay tribute to the Disney Classics. But this intro was way better than I thought it would be.
I still haven't fully seen this movie T_T I really want to.

Umm I need to see inside the whole of the castle after this opening :D

Slushy strings and choirs singing 'Ahh'. Neo-impressionism, the hallmark of 1940s cinema music.

This is my favourite variation of this logo, which is one of the reasons why I enjoyed that movie so much.

I really like the fact that they enter the castle and go to the storybook :)

Plus I like the way the camera zoomed into the castle that reveals the book.

I thought it was very well done too. It has that classic Disney feel to it!
