  • Hey cool I did not know there was boarders down there I'm from Shreveport

  • Great video + awesome cat =..................oops thought I knew where I was going there.

  • i got a abec 3 for 10$ and it was better than my lucky abec 7 lol

  • Do u take the shields off

  • Do I take the shield off? Which bearings would u recommend me cuz I go to skatepark and street skate? Also would I recommend this wheels or should I just stay with rictas

  • Do I take the shields off ? Which ones would I recommend for me I mostly do street?

  • @GetKnownRandom

There's a debate about shields... some people claim to like the sound and that they last just as long, but shields are there to prevent dust and particulates from ruining the race and getting gunk in the bearings.

As for mostly street... I'd still say the same thing I guess. Abec ratings are kind of a joke, any good bearing should be good for any terrain. Peace!

  • Wat r the best bearings?

  • @GetKnownRandom

I don't know what the best are, but I like a ton... Spitfire reds and blues, Cheapshots, Bones Reds, Bones Swiss, and the list goes on. One of my setups has Bones Swiss 6's in it right now, and I'm pretty impressed with them The other has Spitfire Cheapshots, and they seem to be handling things really well and are pretty damn fast, too. Cheers!

  • 2:20 thats what she said =D

  • @MegaRockerKid

    Hahaha

  • cute cat

  • @UltimateCounterHero, abec is the measurement of how "perfectly" round the ball bearing is. 7 would be the most "perfectly" round and 3 wouldn't be as good. like he said, it just depends on which brand they are.

  • @mayohater2

    Spot on! Cheers!

  • what is the difference in "abecs" with bearings? Please reply I'd like to know? Are sevens better then threes? thanks.

  • @UltimateCounterHero technically, yes. But in skateboarding it doesn't really matter. Abec ratings really start to matter when the bearing is going at very high speeds (150+mph). I used to ONLY skate Bones Swiss bearings, but after spending 40 bucks a few times, I switched to Bones Reds. Just get those, they are about 15 bucks right now and work fine for PLENTY of people.

  • YOU LOOK GUY

  • @SouthFlowfreerunning

    I AM A GUY

  • Let the cat have a go at skating it's desperate

  • damn, such a sketchy style....just sick!

  • what is the duro? 98 99 100 or 101A?I ask because i'm a little bit confused :)

    thanks

  • @djaftermidnight They are 102's but feel like 99s. Lots of durability without the weirdness.

  • the cat wants to skate~

  • what do you say about independants? best?

  • @teamshady04

One person's best is another person's worst. I like Indy a lot, but I can't tell anyone what they like the most, y'know?

  • Is it better to order a customized board online?Iv'ed done alot of research and I WANT to do streetskating. Or is it just better if i go to local skateshop and ask him i want a durable and good skateboard? Please help

  • @HellzDeath yeah if you want shit for cheaper, like the boards usualy about 123.00 or cheaper when ur done, instead of buying a board for 50, then trucks for like damn 45, then some 25 or even 15 dollar wheels, it adds up way quiker if u buy it sepratly. So if u must try for a complete. CCS, or skatewarehouse are good and cheap. But DGK boards are strong has shit no lie

  • Cool lip tricks. You rip on ramps.

  • i am looking forward to trying them i don't flat spot wheels that much but my friend kills every wheels he gets i don't think he will flat spot these also your reviews are fantastic!

  • ur cats cool as hell. i wish mine was like that mine is always running from me. lol but you have a cool acsent (or however you spell it) when you say "so"

  • GO EPIC CAT

  • nice video bro(:

  • hey grimcity have you tried the new indy hollow forged trucks the ones that indy ads as super light ive skated tensors and realized i needed to make a change after my baseplate cracked i like light trucks and theeves to me are too expensive so plz reply any other light trucks and finally youre an awsm skater

  • lolkat

  • I am buying better skateboard wheels. which kind or model should i get???

  • @Grungeguy27

No clue what you like, homie!

  • dude did you try bones atf

  • @jul7254

Nah, just STFs and SPFs, man. Have you? How do you like 'em?

  • @grimcity i havnt was just wondering if you have cuz you make good wheel reviews i wanted to know if they wher good

  • @jul7254

Oh, nah man, I haven't tried those yet!

  • dude did you try bones atf

  • in the begining was that a herb or tabbaco..........just asking

  • @potheadsk8r

    Hah, just terbaccy...

  • was he smoking kush

  • did you put a spacer in your wheels?

  • @DTFginger

    Not in this set.

  • ur cat looks like mine

  • ey bro wat size shoe are u and wat size board do u skate?

  • @piegangster1

My shoes are 9.5's, and I tend to skate 8.25's.

  • Bones wheels if you dont want flat spots. ABEC rated bearings aren't designed for skateboarding.

  • its not a puppy

  • @idiotNicky

Upon further examination, I believe you might be right.

  • what bearings are you using?

  • lol at your cat

  • @aXEysp74al2

If he was able to, he's lol at me all the time. He's cool, but he can be a jerk sometimes. hehe

  • r u sponsored???

  • @NotVirginRadio

I try to represent my local shop, Small Time Skates in Hammond, Louisiana.

  • man i'm only 12 years old and i need a 49mm wheel, and i don't have the card to buy it.... its sooo bad, and my skateboard needs some speed, if you can help reply and my wheels are bigger then the 49mm

  • @ruukugirl

    I can't help.

  • Comment removed

  • @ruukugirl On the website that this guy talks abuot, you can learn that you don't need a credit card.

  • @IAWAskater where?

  • @ruukugirl betterskateboarding

  • @ruukugirl com

  • @ruukugirl you dont go faster with smaller wheels

  • @aylera idk if i can, but i bet they'll work better then my big ones that i have

  • R u going to make any new videos

  • Bandit looks JUST like my cat!

  • @grimcity what are better wheels, Better's or Spitfire StreetBurners and tell me why.

    thanks!

  • thanks for killling the air buddy

  • haha. the cat

  • do you have to pay for shipping on their website? please reply

  • @liamdallama

I really don't know man, they sent the wheels to me to review and I haven't had any contact since I uploaded the vid back in 2008. I wish I could help you, but I'd have to defer you to them for info like that. Cheers man, your FS 360 vid was really clever!

  • You should teach Bandit how to skate. Then post a video and create the best kitten video ever.

  • @olliemaster1232

1- Spits are sold at nearly every shop I've ever been to, and they come in several hardness ratings (aka durometers). They have everything from squishy soft wheels (like the Zip Zinger wheels for Krooked or Softers) but they have a really good all-around 99 duro (a lot of the Classics and pro wheels are 99s). Parkburners are hard but grippy, 99, Streeburners are harder, but not slick. My faves.

2 - I didn''t actually buy the wheels, not sure if they sell 'em at shops.

  • hey do all wheels have that special urethane formula or just the white ones?

  • @winsomelosenone I think it applies to all the wheels, but you'd be better off asking (emailing) the people over there... they only had black and white when this review was made.

  • @grimcity hey what do u prefer. spitifre street burners or better skateboarding wheels

  • @Lakerzfanboy4 For me, Spits.

  • @grimcity hey, what do you think of element decks preferbly helium decks

  • cool thanks dude

  • i love you cat bro my cat does that all the time. What would you say to a new sk8er? im a sk8in for two days now thats it but my friends say im doing good do you think you could help me out on getting good ? well nice vid thanks for all your vids lol

  • @chris123chris82

The only thing I can say to a new skater is have fun... skills come naturally. Just enjoy rolling, and the more comfort you feel on board the more fun it'll be... meaning the longer you skate the better it gets! Cheers Chris!

  • Lemme hit that joint!

  • my dogs name is bandet but still thanks for all the reviews

  • cute cat

  • Are flip tricks easier to do with smaller wheels?

  • @danthordan yes they are easier

  • hey how do they ride in pools and tranny stuff like that

  • thanks for doin all these reviews man, you are really helping skaters out, and guiding us on like what to buy and what is just a gimmic...thanks

  • @AlrightAlbrights Thanks for watching! One thing I want to make sure not to do is "tell" people what and what not to get... I like just sharing my experience, you know? I respect the fact that different people have different taste, but at least this way folks can see the stuff being used, you know? Cheers and peace!

  • do the wheels come with bearings?

  • @101whatspoppin I don't think so, I think they just sent them to me for the review. I haven't talked to anyone over there since right after the review, so you might want to check their site just to be sure... it's linked in the video info, man. Cheers!

  • lol your cat

  • Yeah, he's my little furry bastard/homie .

  • Mini Logo wheels are awesome! I have been skating them for about 7-8 months and only one wheel has one little pit. And I skate for hours every day.

  • teh meow wanna sk8board!!!!!!

  • where can u find these wheels

  • @ssskbonez skatewarehouse

  • @ssskbonez betterskateboarding . com

  • I am about to order new wheels but I can't really decide between better and bones stf. I mainly skate street in the summer but park in the winter sometime as well. I haven't really got problems with flatspots yet in my skating career (I've had spitfires, blanks, foundation) I want assurance of slide ability, grip and speed.

What wheels would you recommend me as you're a shop owned and a die hard skater it seems.

    Thanks in advance.

  • I'll accept the title of a die-hard, but I simply help represent our shop, owned by my best friend Kerry (he's in a number of my vids).

Anyway, with flats not being an issue for you, that opens up a lot of doors... STFs are incredibly well made, but they're prone to act slippery on smoother surfaces. That's true with any wheel, but it's really pronounced. The Betters are grippier than STFs, and I felt fine on both diameters I tested. Personally, I'm a huge fan of Spit's F1 Streetburners (cont.)

  • ...I like them so much I did an ad/review on them, at the time of this writing I think it's the second-newest video I have online. They grip when I want them to, slide when I want them to, and have been generally tough as hell in my experience. They're not as slick as STFs, but they're definitely more slideable than Betters.

Having said that, I'm not really one to tell another person what they "should" ride, as we all have different tastes- but hopefully mentioning the characteristics helps!

  • Are 54mm wheels REALLY big??? I think Im gonna go and buy some 54mm wheels with my Girl 7.81 deck. I don't know if 54mm wheels are big and good or not. Can you comment me back please.....good review too!

  • Personally I don't think 54's are all that big... in fact I probably ride 54's more now than ever. Sometimes I even bump it up to 56 if I really feel like hauling!

But that's my street/park/trick board... I have some cruisers and a longboard sitting on nearly 70mm wheels, they're beasts! Not so good for a stuntwood though, haha.

  • 54's are good. I got 54,s ricta naturals. i love them.

  • no dont go with 54 if ur on a 7.81 use like a 51 or 52 a whell that is 54mm is way too big

  • If I didn't know any better I'd say the silouette at 8:10 was the bird man lol. Looks kinda like him.

  • what size board were u using when u made this video??? and whats the difference between skinny and fat wheels....my friend told me to get fat wheels because thats what everyone rides...but im just wondering

  • the cat rules

  • yo you guys sponcer comment me back im from detroit and got some secret spots for some good fotty

  • I have never been to the Hammond Dreamland park before. Do you need a waiver to get in?

  • Nope, it's completely open-air and free to the public. Just park in front, walk through the fence and you're skating!

  • Thank you.

  • Sure thing... give me a shout on here if you head out. You'll like the scene here, we're like a big family over here.

  • Guaranteed no flat spots?

I think someone should get Jamal Smith a set of these :3

  • Well, that's what the company says... I took out some chunks in part 2, but the ones I had didn't flatspot. Having said that, I'm sure a few attempted bluntslides on unpainted concrete would flat any wheel, but at the time of this review (and I guess they still hold to this), if you make 'em flatty, they'll trade in for new ones. I do back the wheels reviewed... the two sets I had were indeed made of some good urethane, I just prefer companies that focus on shop distribution (but I'm a kook).

  • abec dosn't matter for skateboarding wheels

  • Yeah, I sort've say that in the video.

  • i just noticed that great video

  • Ah, thanks homie... I'm just a nerd with a camera! haha.

Cheers, hope your holidays are kick ass!

  • no problem your a great skater and I hope you have great holidays to

  • dude your street shop deck looks amazing gimmie one XD

  • yo dude get a DRAMA board they are the fuckkin shit nd if yu do get 1 do a review on it

  • your fuckin crazy to even do a stupid review like this bones wheels are definetely better

  • I know, like totally crazy, right?

  • hell yea

  • Shit, I'm so crazy that I laugh at my own jokes because I don't know the punchlines until I say them. Crazed like fried ice.

  • lol i love that kat!!!!!!!

+ ty for the tip on the site i lover the blackjack ones

    love that kiiiiiiiiittttttttyyyyyyyyyy #

  • I told Bandit he just got some props. He flopped over and stared at me, and knowing him, I think he was giving props back to you. He's hard to read sometimes.

    Cheers!

  • spitfire classics all the way!

  • how good r abec 3 sawblades

  • love the song. i listen to it all the time before i skate

  • KIIIIIIIIITTTTYYYY LOL

  • my bones stf's arrived yesterday, and i know my bearings slip on alot easier than that because of the simple shape

  • nice cat :)

  • ...Bandit thanks you for the kind words. heh

  • i loveeee the ricta electric wheels im not to sure what there called but there so good there amazing for tailslides noseslides and blunt slides. but i am thinking about some of these wheels sometime

  • always use spacers

  • get bones reds

  • so u dont nd a spacer in between ur bearings

  • Nah, not really. Not bad to have, but I never really use them personally.

  • does anyone know the difference between the thin narrow wheels and the wider ones??bcaus they just came out with thin ones and dnt know which to order??.

  • Thin equals less urethane... meaning a little weight shaved off.

  • ??what wheels are better 50mm or 53mm

  • Neither one is better. It's all about what you prefer.

  • Hey dude just wanna ask cuz i wanna buy a skateboard and i wanna like role far when i just push one time with the skateboard whats best then ? like 52mm ? and some tricks too :)

  • where can i get some cheap skating wheels from the u.k?

  • if u got a spacer between the bearings u dont have to get em straight, u can just tighten em till they go straight

  • True, but you need to be careful when doing that if the core of the wheel has a snug fit... if the bearing is seated crooked, pushing in on it with a wrench might hurt the shields. But yeah, if the bearing is seated straight, you can most definitely do that. Thanks for posting kote!

  • cats FTW! haa :D

  • damn 50-50 to lipslide

  • sir,may i ask...do thy ship to Asia?

  • you should have said about the shipping cost world wide mate. I just oredred some and i live in the UK and the shipping to me was $10 which is so cheap compared to other websites. I tried to order a T from the 4star website and they wanted $40 for shipping! so $10 is insane. I will make a review once i got my wheels and skated for a few weeks mate. Will keep you posted dude.

  • Fair point, Fenwick... I didn't have that information though (the wheels were sent in return for a proper review). I hope they work well for you man!

  • i hope so 2... sick of buying new wheels..

  • Man you have the same bearings as i do

  • Yeah, no complaints concerning the FKD's... over the years I've ridden several sets and they always come through great, Lately my big kick has been with both Spitfire Streetburner wheels *and* bearings (the Spitfire Reds, though the blues are super good too). Again though, FKD makes for a really good spin. Cheers to ya BIZ! w00t

  • i hate bones barings, i dont clean bearings at all but still, ive had alot of sealed abec 3's with metal covers that ive rid on dirt jumps and gravel and all that junk and they last longest without bein cleaned imo. Cuz after gripping and rammin bushings in ect im lazy :P

  • I can relate 100%! haha

  • Is it the bearing that does make u roll like if u push u roll far ? is it the bearings ? :)or the wheels i wanna role far with 1 push wich shud i choose

  • Bones reds bearings and ricta 100nbs wheels

  • the only thing i could think about during this video was kitty cat cat kitty meow haha nice review i still like spitfire

  • this guy is high as hell

  • Haha, nah, I'm just like that. Nothing against it (or getting drunk) as long as it isn't coke or heroin or any of that hard crap. As for this, I'm just naturally a goob... moreso when I'm getting tipsy, heh. Cheers!

  • hey. im pretty new to the skateboarding thing you no.... but im wondering how to make the bearings better greased up or watever to make it go a bit faster. if u can help than please help.

  • o an i love ur cat :)

  • you use lubricant, i recommend bones lube, only 4 dollars.

  • dude i just got to say tht i love ur vids and your reviews because you actually make your review right infront of us u know?

    but u got my respect

and just wondering do u think if u have time if u can can u make a review on thuder lights?

  • Thanks Babas! I'm super stoked that you're digging the vids! Props!

I'll see what I can do about the Thunders... so many things to test, so little time! haha

    Peace!

  • yo catis like bitch pet me

  • Haha, no doubt!

It's like I don't own my cat, it owns me... haha

  • mmm i just orderd the 49 but im not sure if i should of got those. i mostly skate street and a little vert what do you think?

  • I don't know man, it's all up to you!

  • smoking is bad for u haha jk keep skating! but yea dont smoke its really bad
