Great video tribute to a good actor and a gorgeous man. I watched with the sound turned off since it didn't fit the majesty of the man and his actor. (Dare I use the "S" word for the soundtrack?) The scenes of Power were wonderful and I saw most of these films when they came out, being an old man.

Power did not appear "sexy" to me. He was extremely handsome, and had an intensity that we no longer see. Wonderful actor, especially in "Razors Edge." He had a sensitivity, that reflected an inner kind, and thoughtful spirit. Gable was a clutz. He would not have wanted the competition.

For those like myself who have admired him most of our lives we are glad that many of today's generation are discovering him and other silver screen stars. The Hollywood of today should pay attention to the fact that so many are seeking out the stars and movies of "yesteryear"......but I think the message that is being sent is lost on most of the Hollywood crowd today.
I slept with him last night in Las Vegas in the MGM room with his live photo. There was Jack Lemon and Audrey Hepburn on the walls and I covered them with white towels. I laid there looking only at Tyrone Power all night.
I want Clint Eastwoods' "cool" persona and height , Mark Walhbergs' physic, and Tyrone Powers' face. Photos actually lessened his true looks. He was handsomer in person and in films/videos....as is the case with many. He also had a gorgeous baritone voice.

Ashley was too weak and wimpy. In fact that's why i don't like Gone with the Wind, he is not believeable getting the girl when Clark Gable is his rival. Tyrone would have been perfect for this role. And it would have guaranteed his legacy. No one knows who he is because he wasn't in Gone with the Wind.
He looks really good in Son of Fury. They wanted Ty to play Ashley Wilkes in Gone With the Wind but his studio wouldn't loan him out after their experience with Marie Antoinette. How many people know that?
@garycooper1000 In a way I am glad he didn't play Ashley Wilkes, even though he was requested for the part when everyone else was begging for a screen test for any part in that movie....the character was too wimpy, indecisive and weak, that turn-down might have been a smart call. But as Rhett.,oh yes, carrying Scarlett up those stairs that night! I photo shopped a pic of him as Rhett at the foot of the stairs looking up at Scarlett smiling "that smile"...the results were heart pounding...lolol
Ty looks so good in Jesse James it's hard to believe he struggled at first to get parts.He gave up at one point and became a chauffer to a big director and kept begging for a chance to prove himself. The director was telling him I don't know if you can make it as an actor, you ears stick out too much.

I saw your video for Jesse James. I have the movie on VHS that i taped off cable tv.They play it all the time on the Western channel. The remake with Pitt is so boring i couldn't even watch it. With the renewed interest of Jesse James you should post the entire movie.
@garycooper1000 Tyrone's Jesse James is available on DVD on Amazon. I don't upload entire movies of Tyrone's because it affects Fox releasing them onto DVD if they can be downloaded for free. When Fox releases his movies on DVD they include special features....like rare clips of Tyrone at premieres..etc, so getting all of his released on DVD is a treat, Also, uploading entire movies is a sure way to lose your channel....YT eventually catches it and their channel is gone.with no warning.
I wouldn't have thought a 53 yr old woman could make videos like yours. Most 53 yr olds don't even know how to use a computer. Anyone who wants to watch the story of Jesse James is going to have to learn who Tyrone Power is because the remake that Brad Pitt did is a terrible movie. Pitt is always bad but this remake is as bad as he is.
