I was 8, so the memories are not too clear, but I remember watching this and my sister crying because she had waited her entire life. And of course I remember the Stanley Cup when Wooley scored and I though we were gonna win. But I also remember crying after "No Goal" and the giant get together outside of city hall a few days later. It was a magical year. Hopefully this year is the same.

Wow. How ironic. I just came home today from Toronto to Buffalo (great city btw). The Border patrol guy asked my sister why she had a bottle of my moms prescription pills for Nausea. They took the same medicine, she happend to grab the wrong bottle before we left to Toronto. "Well your mother should know its Illegal to carry another persons prescription,does she know you have it?" the patrol man said "no" my sister replied "she died of pancreatic cancer last year"... So go fuck yourself

Everything was perfect, it really looked like we were finally going to do it. Then the nightmare.

Then 05/06, we flat out dominate everybody, walk through Philly and Ottowa, win the first game against Carolina, brought them to game 7, and nightmare all over again.

I miss those badass Black & Red jerseys too.
