My son and I were forced into exile because of a corrupt system in Pennsylvania. You can view our story at 'MOTHER AND SON EXILED FROM THE USA, DOES ANYONE CARE?' This is something you do only if you are desperate to protect your children after everything else fails. We are trying to get help so we can return to the US, but so far we only get brushed off by our own government. Way to go Holly. I have cried over this. I am happy you and children made it. So many times a woman tries to leave and she ends up dead. I grew up watching a man beat my mom. An awesome video to exemplify the love a Mother has for her children. Holly is a hero, doing what any mother would do to protect and save her children. We need the courts to realize they should work with the family, not against them, breaking them up, placing them in unwanted & unhealthy environments. Having worked with such cases and written a song, "Let My Children Go," to express this very tragedy. I know this has become an epidemic. Sad, but true. :-(

Pete, I believe you wrote that song at a time when a mother was going through a custody swtich. It is a sad commentary when those who claim to be men, support a male who beats his wife and kids.

Yes, I wrote my song, "Let My Children Go," a few years back when Wendy Titelman, a dear mother, was going through this exact horror. No, Real MEN don't do the things you speak of. I too, am so happy to see a REAL MAN stand for Holly and her children.

Wouldn't be the only time we ever took a stand against the abuse of women and children. I do not care what gender; no one has the right to beat anyone. Wives and children are assumed to be in that category.

Why would any human approve of and support anyone who breaks children's skulls, a young boy trying to protect his mother, AGAIN... some 15 years ago.

He is much nicer and softer spoken than myself.

I just find the fact that the crimes against this family are taken so lightly, while the mother's escape to safety is used against her.

This is a real family and children, who we need to hear.

With such glaring proof of abuse. Why is Holly guilty?

Holly, you are my hero! You did what any good parent would do and protected your children come hell or high water and regardless of what a court said. Too many children have DIED because the courts did what was 'best' for them. Your kids look like they have had a wonderful life and I you all have my support. All children should be so lucky to have a parent like you!

The DA in your hometown in the USA should be sued for failure to protect! Rather than Holly being held accountable for doing what the courts would not do, the courts need to be held accountable for 14 years of having to leave in fear and secrecy! This is so insane and Jennifer, as we say, the proof is in the puddin' and you and your brother are all the proof of what a wonderful mother you have.
