  • this is perfect

  • i dont understand a shit

  • it was hard, but i managed to masturbate on this video...

  • Who's the creator of this?

  • but it doesnt make much sense... why should he keep researching on how to make a complete perpetuum mobile process to keep himself alive.. if i would be that robot i would simply build a windmachine or such so i get the energy from the wind

  • What is that thing called at 0:32!? I have seen something like that some other place and it is AWESOME!

  • @MrTravisL1994

Perhaps you mean something like the "Galaxy Pendel"

  • how you can make a film like these?

  • I designed a free ethernal engine in order to stop the 300 men that are trying to make us all their slaves by putting their hands over the entire planet all banks , every inch of land all laws written only serve the richer . You can see my model of perpetuummobile it at : link : = leviathan.host-ed.net =

  • why am i watching this? ...

  • aw hell, i got the goosebumps...

  • Very good.

  • genial corto :D

la banda sonora es una pasada

  • very good animation, but the story is crappy.

  • (1(CollinCreatedElectromagneticdischargeimagingLoyaltoCollin--)1) --

  • very true

  • FREAKY MUCH? THEY NEED A MOVIE ABOUT THIS BUT MORE MECHANIC STUFF I LIKED IT. @nachetec

  • Can someone tell me please what the thing at 0:30-0:35 called ?

    very good animation ;)

  • this guy should rather invent the cosmetic surgeon! but anyway cool animation, keep it up

  • Es absolutamente maravilloso!! Vaya...joer! :)

  • For all the idiots who are saying you don't get it or anything.

Firstly, Read what a perpetual mobile is. then actually watch the video.

    Btw. I love the video!

  • I didnt get the point of this. A lot of rendering and work for nothing.

  • las familia de morfiosos

  • i dont understand the story... and why is it called Perpetuum Mobile?

  • @maxxville94 Perpetual motion doesn't exist on earth; everything stops and comes to an end eventually. had really no idea what the little boy had to do with this short film though

Baiatrayectoria q tienen...

    muy bueno el corto!

  • for me, I dont understand the ending. Seeing being a robot stops all the movement, but the kid goes on?

I like the music, the graphics... dont understand the story, sorry.

  • ..didn't understand the beginning.

..should it be the "death", who's bringing the lifetime, which ends for the doctor ?!

  • nice animation but boring story!

  • silverspace en vitoria! muy buen video

  • stupendo..

  • Masterpiece of animation.

  • Need a source for 7:15

"Movement is the essence of life"

    Leonardo da Vinci

    Thx for help

  • fascinating silent short film.

usually about 50% of a movie is music. but here is more.

  • But I think the idea is the message: whenever we will create a life equal to us, working like us, then our existanse and our world will lose the stability (equilibrium / mass or energy save) and it will just "break". ;)

  • 1/3 of the film is CAST )))))))

  • touching.

  • What is the point of this video i dont get it is that old man a robot and wats the idea of the hart ?

  • The main idea of any good story doesn't have to be revealed to you. The beauty is that everyone can have their own interpretation. Any good story is better if it leaves you thinking.

    (perpetuum mobile = eternal engine)

  • this is awesome and everything but i don't get the point

  • interesting. I mean really nice

  • one of the best short movies ever seen :D i love the short films without voices

  • real nice animation, love it!

  • Idiot!

  • we are simply a cog

  • am leaking... i'll come bk

  • That was really really cool.

  • everything is slowing down... (2)

  • Simply...no words can describe the quality of the animation, the sounds, the gripping story and the heartbreaking ending. This is a masterpiece.

  • @Szederp your right, unfortunatly this whole video is a lie, but still lovely to watch :-)

  • @alain001 "lie" is a bit too harsh, I'd rather say fantasy.

  • very very good but this animation could be better

  • Well, i´m speechless. Realy one of the best animations i have ever seen.

  • to Zyklowa `s idea:

the universe isn`'t aperpetuum mobile . the sun/suns is the "motor"

  • in my eyes our whole universe is a perpetuum mobile all together i mean

the stars/suns all has energy and it doesn´t stop :)

  • everything is slowing down...

  • Why, after a while a star burns out and turns into a black hole.

after uninmaginably many years all the starrs will no longer generate warmth. By then we and aliens have to be able to generate energy out of a single molecule in order to survive and make an environment by technology

  • @zyklo: well, i fact the universe is some kind of a perpetuum mobile because all the energy in it is constant. and it can't be otherwise according to actual physical laws

@scottie: no, it's not. rotation of stars or planets, revolution of planets or moons, all these things may be slowing down; but the most important: expansion of the universe is becoming faster and faster all the time.

@angry: we already can generate energy out of even less than a molecule, think about nuclear fission or fusion

  • @Zyklowa perpetual motion means forever going on, not 'not stopping for at least a while'

our sun will explode eventually too, since it produces heat which is energy and there is only a certain amount of energy in the universe which cannot become more or less so it needs a fuel, and since the sun can't tank fuel like cars, all suns will eventually not exist anymore

  • @Rboysblaster but still the energy doesnt become less

so universe itself will still go on even if there are no suns?

the energy will float around doing nothing but it would still be there...

  • For every action, there is a equal and opposite reaction, but that opposite reaction is lost upon other forces such as gravity, and friction. A perpetual motion device is only possible if you increase the gravitational pull underneath an object, so that it can have more energy gain than what is lost upon those exccess forces in the universe.

  • @Demonlead I do not understand you completely, a motion in a certain cycle means that in one whole cycle of movement the energy loss caused by gravity is always 0 or more than 0 but energy gain by gravity is impossible if the gravity remains constant.

  • this is one of the best animations i've ever seen!

  • Beautiful animation...

  • entire universe is one huge PERPETUUM MOBILE! :) he he da da

  • yes but the energy remains in its interior,so you cannot use that energy in exterior. so any perpetuum mobile machine which you want to give you energy is FULL OF SHIT,because it's completely unuseful,it cannot give energy forever.

  • and what exactly is 'exterior' of the entire universe?

  • i don't know, but the first energy impulse of the universe came from God

  • i involve it,because this is the essence,i cannot ommit God when i talk about the universe and its laws

  • @earthga nope, the universe itself doesn't move so you can't say the 'mobile' or 'motion' part in 'perpetual mobile' or 'perpetual motion'

  • @Rboysblaster you crazy, you dont understand! where do you came from, cave? I bet your name is nick! from your point of view nick, our universe is static and does not expand, it is permanent, and therefore your mind is static too! from my point of view and from my own universe, sorry u have failed

  • @earthga

I did not state our universe is static, I stated it has no motion, which means the object itself does not move

see the universe as a ball, since I rather think you are the nick here than I am (although a genius in my class is also called nick, terrible generalization of you) I will use this simplified example:

universe = ball, ball is standing still but expands every second....

already clear to you that there's a difference between motion and expansion?it's not static, nor moving

  • @earthga

oh and another thing, even if it would be called 'perpetual expansion' the universe would still not be an example of perpetual expansion since it will once stop and collapse, in about 9 billion years if I remember correctly from the current estimations I read once

  • @earthga

(sry for spam ppl I'll clear up the mess here later by deleting most of my comments)

1 last thing dude: the mistake I also think that if you still wouldn't understand perhaps you make the mistake that the universe is the object you say is in perpetual motion and therefore it is not of importance whether or not things within the object (universe) move

  • nice.

  • In other words;

    It's all a fairy tail ;-)

  • not what i was looking for but so happy i found it. thanks for posting

  • Have anymore

  • Have anymore

  • perpetuum mobile (stargate) is in ying yang, inside the circle there are 2 larvas, only one is real, the other is hole, antilarva. join the opositte eyes with a rigid bar in rigid union with real larva. aplicate umbilical vector in the navel of real larva, the base of the vector is in the circle more or less in the hair line of the real larva. make your own deffender to the speed of light. the real larva slide on his back

  • >.> why do they call these things a perpetuum mobile.. they arnt.

  • they are models of failed attempts to create perpetuum mobile, never the less in the scientific world those failures are accepted as perpetuum mobile..

  • Fair enough.. why make up a name for something that doesnt exist

  • that is a pretty stupid question no matter how you take it

  • actuallly, it's not even a name, it just means always moving in latin, or something like that....

  • ...Andrea means "man" and it's a name. You know what Dick means and it's a name. Your point?

  • Didnt understand it =o

    could someone explain to me?

  • I guess, when he created the ´´time´´ they stopped working

  • hehe lol

  • Or maybe: No matter how hard you try to make, a thing last forever.. you (people) can't last for ever..

If you see in the start of the film, there are a man putting a time glass on the table.. Maybe that sympolize a pirsons life, and no matter what you do you can't make it stop.. Its like He (the "wizard/mobile man")can make an machine heart that can last forever, but he cant make humans live forever.

  • Yeah you're abselutely right! i didn't thinnk of that. it's indeed a heart of life

  • relly cool vid

  • A young Leonardo da Vinci, good video. I have an animation of the actual perpetual motion machine he designed, its way better than the one on the table

  • This is an amazing peice of art

  • Wow what a creepy video. I had to watch it though!!!!

  • that was sad and scary when you first see the robot

  • Why so?

  • Shut up, you sad little man

  • Because it is cool :D:D :)

    regards :)

  • Touching.

  • that was cool ^.^ but it was wierd with the robot thing.... ya... but it was good...

  • perpetual motion:slave labor

  • Really nice animation. Check out my making of perpetuum mobilé video too!

  • could someone tell me what the names of the two things on 0:32 and on 0:38 are ???? nice movie by the way but i want to know.. i already know the cradle of newton but i want to know the other two also bij voorbaat dank

  • Such wonder and beauty!

  • Fascinating story and beautiful animation. I really enjoyed this a lot..
