Nice job RobPirie, some decent looking fish on the hook there! Are you still pulling up fish out that way? Check out some of my vidoes, either on YouTube or on the Deep Drop Commercial website (google it) if you want to see some impressive hauls!
Well done guys, but they not the new zealand hapuka as you call em. but a close relly of them. due to a bad back i to will fish thoes reels soon. i just caint fish deep water no more with out em. keep up the good work guys
this is the future of fishing in austalia. In 10 years everone will be doing this. As these are the only grounds in australia that still hold edible fish. All the inshore grounds are totally stuffed and fished out.
Very nice,a little blurry but nice, the people that put down electric reels are either jealous OR they never fished with 10 pound weights 1500 feet down,Time is important on the water,so why do they waste their time with silly-ass comments! You guys where very calm and realy pro on that boat,a good team!Thanks...
i have actually i do all the time and i actually earn my fish these guys do nothing but put bait on the hook and then press a button, that is not sport fishing
The fish were caught 42miles N.E off the Southport Seaway Queensland Aust a place called Jims mountain , in 500m of water. The big ugly cod looking fish are called Hapkua and the other fish Blue eye trevala.
