To open the door, all you have to do is constantly shoot it and melee it around the whole door. It should slowly open up.

You can break the doors if you first shoot at them with an automatic shotgun all the four stages(1 piece is falling apart when you shoot at it, 1 more when you shoot a little more etc.) and then just melee it down. EASY.

nah, survival mode is a level of difficulty in itself... the only reason the tanks drop so fast is the team concentrates its fire immediately so it basically has no chance to even get through the door..

first things first:

1. Just use auto shotties and hittng to take down the door.

2. Open other doors close to you if you use alot of pills, pipe bombs, or Molotovs.

3. Two people should be in front, crouched, with pistols. Behind them should be the other two using pistols also. Only use shotties when there's a horde or a tank(s)

Just my common sense. Hope it works for you.

In survival mode tanks have less health cause they keep spawning and it would be really hard, so if the whole team attacks the tank together it dies really easy.

Oh yeah, me and my friends got 13 mins on this, but we used another tactic. Hide in the room with one door and the ceiling vent, shoot normal infected with pistols and autoshotgun the tank. After maybe 5 minutes, go to this room.

YES YOU CAN MELEE THE FUCKING DOOR DOWN .god. just keep shooting till u get 2 big holes then keep melee-ing. it takes about 10-15 per door. make sure you hear the sound of it hitting, if it doesn't make a sound its not actually hitting, you have to actually stand back a bit.
