Great catch but I wouldnt eat it! you should have got a shot of the toxic formaldehyde smog coming out of Scarriff chipboard or a shot of the HSE at Raheenwood and their surface discharge of sewage directly into the lake, or one of the many signs around the lake warning not to swim in the water as it is likely to cause skin irritation!

I caught most of my pike this week on a jerkbait caled The Striker, made by Rob Kraaijeveld, from Holland. There are various lurebuilders who make a similar hybrid jerkbait.

One of them is called "Bössel" by Eric de Lange. Also from the netherlands.

Wat is de grootste die jullie gevangen hebben in ierland? :O

@jelledj De grootste zal zo rond de 105 cm hebben gezeten. We hebben de vis niet gemeten, dus helemaal zeker zijn we niet. Voor extreme lengte hoef je trouwens niet naar Ierland te gaan heb ik begrepen. De kracht en explosiviteit die je daarvoor terug krijgt maakt dit echter méér dan goed.
