I ride it twice a week, it's a very pleasant, smooth ride. If only the purple line express ran at all hours, the red line (coming back from the loop) is crowded and noisy.

cta has to expand out of chicago for other places in the county to have rapit transit to work adn back and stuf

Technically it is heavy rail. Compared with New York, Washington, or Atlanta, CTA's cute lil' baby trains just look like light rail.

I was driving up in Evanston and got kind of lost so i start heading West on some really quiet street. I got to a train crossing and the lights and barriers came down. I was expecting a Metra train but low and behold it was a Purple line train way out there. I was like WTF is this train doing way out here? There's like a forest on each side of the tracks. That was weird.

Nice clip, but the CTA system is a heavy rail rapid transit system, not light rail. Just a small correction from a railfan :D
