  • This is THE best song I have ever heard on AMIGA or any other computer. It still gives me goosebumps when I hear it today.

  • @Thiliono me too :-)

  • I used to watch this AAAALLLLL the time. Oh my goodness. I feel like I have acne again.

  • I loaded this into the 4 tracker with all the midi sounds on the Amiga... Gave me every note then learnt to play it on keyboards... One of the Best...!!!

  • MEMORIES!!! I played this demo on my A500.

  • at the end you can change the parameters for the balls, very funny. and i love the powerpacker..

  • I have this on VHS tape.... and yeah it's something like 10 minutes

    .

Great house music though. BTW why is it playing on speed? My Amiga 500 (when it still worked) played this about half as fast

    .

  • Wow! Memories ..

  • This demo was the first thing I ever saw on an Amiga. At the time I had a C128 and an IBM XT with hercules mono graphics. I damned near died of envy and spent years trying to get the money together for an Amiga. Thanks for the great memories! :)

  • @the1marauder2 you sound like me, when i had a commodore 64 i had those demos, the ones that had graphics and sound and pushed the machine to its limit.

well when i got an amiga i thought it was so powerful but never till this saw a demo.

this too was the first i saw and was blown away.,

  • @steviebboy69 Ahhhhh, heady days indeed. Don't know that we'll ever see the like of it again, but it certainly was good times. Funny that almost 20 years later I remember the feeling of that music booming out of that stereo monitor. Somehow my adlib and c64, while great in their own way, just didn't measure up!

  • I remember this demo, and the first piece of tracker software that I used was the 'DOC Soundtracker' -- was that the first piece of tracker software?

  • The demo is running faster than it should.

It didn't run this fast on the original Amiga 1000 or 500 hardware.

  • I tried loading this on the very first Amiga (the A1000 from 1985). It ran perfectly smooth!

  • Youtube's video codec can't handle this demo's 60 frames/sec run. It makes the demo look choppy, which it ain't. The bars at the top are rotating in 3d space, but you can't tell... oh well...

  • Yes, the demo goes on for aaages. Sorry about the shortness of this video, but I didn't have the bandwidth (or time!) to upload all of it, so I just put up a couple of minutes of it to stir the memories. :o)

  • Fantastic demo! You should have let the recording run on though, as Dr. Mabuse's scrolltext goes on for a fair while (though as I remember it's a bit risque later on!)

An all time classic though - keep away from sources of heat such as hell, etc.

  • Wow. This brings back memories. This was the demo that convinced me to by an A2000. Best purchase of my life.
