Superlative! Almost every form of motor-sport is so droningly boring. A procession of narcissistic fools being watched by Fangio wannabes. But... THIS! This is something quite different. It is idiotic, ridiculous, competitive, yet humilating and equalizing. Everybody I knew wanted to go to Rachau to watch this. What a pity that it was cancelled from 2003. What about the Manfred Kainz "victory" from 1995? The narrator is skeptical. So am I. Not even 150m!

@samijamesmusic At least we still have Martin Haven and the Dakar. But what happened to the Europa Truck Trials? Or tractor pulling? Or the X-Games and the Shaolin Monks? The days when Eurosport didn't take itself too seriously.

Ahh this brings back memories. Used to watch this with my dad when I was a kid and remember this exact show. Brilliant!! The guy who fell off after 4 meters managed to get a better record in 1999... he fell off at the start line. Then in 2000, he reversed off the start line to finish -10 meters or something :D
