There are some great vids out here showing motorcycles beating all sorts of cars (Porsches, Lamborghinis, etc...) A properly ridden motorcycle will beat almost any car, any day on a given circuit. I know you were not passing earlier on intentionally.
Not true. It depends on the track. Any car is physically capable of MUCH higher acceleration through the corners than almost any motorcycle. That's because a car has 4 wheels, and thus massive amounts of rubber to counteract centripetal force. A motorcycle only has lean angle and the edge grip of both tires to counteract centripetal force. A bike's main advantage over a car is its ability to cut through corners, along with a high power/weight ratio and quick braking. All depends on the circuit..
