Ok. Why when you see a man that is abnormally muscular the fist thing that comes to your mind is STEROIDS? Its not like when you take steroids you instantly get huge and don't have to work as hard as you normally do. When you take steroids your body can intake twice as much protein and recovery time is also cut in half (which in my opinion is a shortcut) but that is besides the point.
