  • It's not a "conditional TENSE." It's a MOOD. Tense refers to past, present, future...whoops!

  • @stringsandwhistles - If Carlos had known the consequences, he would not have gotten a divorce. That's the 3rd conditional tense. See lesson 55 on the Real English site to find out more about this.

  • Well, it's a joke, you see, and I imagine it is too subtle. First we see a commercial shoot outside and a real beautiful model with the upturned nose. We zoom out to show the Real English interviewer. She's trying to make fun of commercial girl, make it all more real.
