Well, it's a joke, you see, and I imagine it is too subtle. First we see a commercial shoot outside and a real beautiful model with the upturned nose. We zoom out to show the Real English interviewer. She's trying to make fun of commercial girl, make it all more real.
It's not a "conditional TENSE." It's a MOOD. Tense refers to past, present, future...whoops!
