Maybe they were afraid of being hit by flying bottles? Maybe. So where were they today? I didnt see or hear them in any tv or radio show, apologizing, or showing their faces, for Gods sake.

P.S. Its true gastrenteritis can sometimes be severe... but it doesnt take you from feeling well to needing hospitalization within 1-2 hours. At least a day of severe diarrhea must pass before one gets hospitalized So please I am sorry for Dave's problems, but please respect our intelligence.

Greece, midweek, to see them in a remote and badly accessible location where cars queue for kilometers and you have to walk up to an hour to go from your car to the venue.

People paid 60, 80 and 100 euros to see DM, let alone the traveling expenses, in a country where very many peoples monthly salary is 700 or 800 euros.

In Greece we say sea-captains prove themselves during storms and this band did nothing to prove how they are worthy of our respect, they fled like nervous newbies.

Unacceptable behaviour! DM totally failed to honour their 'living legend' status. They should have acted professional. I read a lot of snotty comments about how rude Greek people are to be airing their anger, well, let me say this, even if Dave Gahan really fell ill, the other two should have taken to the stage and 1) explained the situation and apologised in a more warm and personal way and 2) maybe played a few songs to show some respect to the 30,000 people who had travelled from all over

There was people who came from far away (from all over greece)pay the tolls waited for 3 hours in the traffic,walked 1 hours on foot waited 3 and 4 hours for the show and none said that there was a problem.They knew it from the morning but till 9 00 they were selling tickets selling beers and t-shirts and cds.Why the fuck didn't say anything? Because they wanted our money and because they didn't want to return the money of the tickets.
